The way he waves his hand, lol:
To be fair, the weird way he's waving and holding the sword is exactly how Link looks when I am trying to use Skyward Sword motion controls. That's some commitment to the cosplay!
On the game, I am surprised at just how good the ultra hand and fuse abilities actually are. Really fun to use and on the first area at least it's neat to figure out how to get a round and what's possible le when fighting enemies.
Don't think the starting area is nearly as good as BOTWs great plateau. Not as impressive to look at visually. Though the traversal and combat are a bit more fun I just don't think it measures up to BOTW in the beginning.
Gonna be interesting to get down to Hyrule field and see how the new abilities work there.
Turns out in the end that it's not the same shrines and not the same map as BOTW which only makes me wonder about the motivations of people who tried to insist that it was the same as BOTW or that it was "lazy DLC". Maybe just trolling.
On the topic of review bias, maybe it's time to consider that Nintendo just has an ability to produce these top tier videogames that comes from years of experience of pitching a game perfectly at the right audience. Same as Rockstar and From Software.
At a time where its difficult to tell who some games are even supposed to be aimed at, like Forspoken and Redfall or even going back to things like Anthem, and when some games don't even run properly on the best available hardware, like Jedi Survivor and Cyberpunk, it feels pretty good to get a game that's just aimed right at me and that's also a ton of fun to play.
Fantastic OT by the way. Amazing job.
