I feel like it's nothing Ubisoft can't come back from. Wait for Shadows to release and shares drop further, then invest.
Always keep in mind that the 7/10 metacritic score is only because IGN has outlets in multiple countries that all influence the overall score, it would be lower without IGN sucking woke female balls.

I've always hated that shit… IGN Italia, IGN Venezuela, IGN North Korea LOL. They do this specifically to increase their influence in the review space and it's so fucking corrupt. Just have one reviewer do a review for IGN, they won't because they're mouthpieces for these publishers and also because they just suck in general.

To be fair we don't even agree amongst each other, how is any outlet score going to please everyone here. They are alright at what they do. To be fair their views probably represent the general market, more than we do.
The main issue is that they aren't neutral reviewers, IGN is strongly ideologically driven. Remember the AC Shadows discussion about the black main character being a real Samurai? They pushed multiple articles out there to spread the fake narrative, with an army of Tweets with "proof" and "real Samurai" statements, fighting the fight.
They're strongly influenced by their agenda, that's why we don't take them seriously, in general. The quality of reviews vary by game and reviewer, of course.
You know, with all these woke failures this year, I actually don't think it's because people have suddenly wised up to this rubbish and are starting to take a political stance against it.
I think people have never liked it, and the level of unhappy sentiment is the same as ever, but this year is the year people finally have it tough enough that they lack either the time or disposable income to put up with it.
I mean even AC Shadow is on course to crash and burn, and most of the players don't give a toss about historical accuracy or the story, just the gameplay loop.
But they're LOOKING for an excuse to not spend more money, and pushing woke shit and having worse mechanics and quality control due to DEI makes it easy to just play the old games more than buy the new instalment.
Oh, man... nevermind. I don't think there's any fixing this one. Sad, since the environments are really well done.

I'll pick this up on Black Friday when its $20 and they have patched all the bugs. It is pretty enjoyable to watch Ubisoft squirm though.

Glad they saw common sense. They were just denying themselves so much of the market and they'll no doubt still force you to install Ubisoft Connect anyway.
I'm okay with Ubi Connect. It's just that Steam is only platform where I can buy something in my country.

Such a massive failure. It's crazy that in the times we live in, a Warhammer game is outselling a AAA Star Wars game several times over.

I really don't understand UBI's commitment to want to improve the game a this point. Having not played it I'm curious for the folks who have if they think any level of improvement could really be made within a year from now.
I really can't get over the 'stealth' of slapping a storm trooper in his FUCKING HELMET to knock him out. Hard for me to see a way to fix something that glaringly bad.

All seems over blown to me. It's an average game in a market with challenging conditions.

Sequel Trilogy really only has stuff with Battlefront 1/2 and Lego Starwars. Literally it.
Embarrassing output of games compared to the Orginal Trilogy, nevermind the Prequels which heavily influenced Kotor 1/2 which are still unsurpassed achievements.
