So I've got a bunch of hours in on Black Ops 6 and it appears this is the new Black Ops 6 thread cause why not. Overall, I'm having a blast. It's just fun to play. Everything feels so good, so smooth. Guns are chunky. The game modes are fun. If I was buying cod every single year or if I was a hardcore lunatic about the game maybe my opinion would be different but for someone just fuckin around it's a blast not gonna lie.
I'm probably shielded from everything people bitch about cause I just am not that involved? It's a game i dunno, I'm just not that emotionally invested into whether or not the ttk has been tweaked by a fraction of a second or whatever. I feel bad for people who are bothered by all this but stuff like omnimovement, to me, makes the game so fun. Diving around corners, sliding into a capture area. It's cool af. The violence is on point too.
The biggest complaint I have is how the game can just be so goofy looking. I'm used to old school call of duty games where it's all military shit and earlier I was killed by a guy who was wearing a pink frilly tutu with a gun that splattered paint everywhere? The fuck is this nonsense? I get why they did it, make money off chumps who would pay for this garish shit but it was offputting. Though, to be fair, that's my biggest "complaint" and it's something that has a tiny impact on the actual game. Kinda speaks volumes to how well the rest of the package is put together.
