Now that I watched the last trailer my feed is giving me MK1 videos and I think the last MK I played was Shaolin monks on PS2 I guess. But I have to say the classic costumes are still king. They look so good.

This is the first time I'm just going to watch the story on YouTube. That's huge coming from me.

Lets see if the people they pander to now are willing to support this to make up for all the people they have lost.

Multiple reasons but the gender swaps and one remaining character Noob looking trash pushed me over the edge. Here's what I wrote on the forums for my reasons;

"Been a massive fan since MK2. This is why I will not be supporting the series anymore.

- Women that aren't allowed to be good looking.
- Gender Swap Characters that only go one way (male to female). In any case completely unnecessary.
- The Price of this story expansion is egregious.
- Focusing on characters that were no good/disliked even during the 3D era.
- Characters and graphics that in many cases are worse than MK11. Some character designs are awful Tanya, Noob etc.
- No major character deaths in the story, totally takes away the stakes.
- Focusing on Havik a character no one likes or is interested in for the new story.
- Resetting the timeline AGAIN just to end it in an even worse consulted mess than we have now.
- Constantly pushing how far they can take grinding and monetisation.
- Guest characters that make no sense (and too many).

So many bad decisions. I hope the new market Netherealm caters to are going to support it for all the fans they have lost. Best of luck."

I did this with MK1 already, ended up buying it on sale and selling it two weeks later lol

Yes I think I'm completely fucking done with MK. Not only did they genderswap the characters, but they didnt even have the balls to make them full cyborgs. They're just some ugly cunts in iron man suits.

Cyrax's fucking "Do you know de wei" accent is borderline racist lmfao. Franchise has tons of beloved female characters that arent in this iteration, but no let's genderswap 2 male characters. Ed Boon is a fucking tard. Bring back Tobias.
