Thread: Star Wars Outlaws Thread |OT| Ubi shot first
Official Thread
Ubi has to be one of the dumbest game companies out there.

Let's spend half a billion on a pirate game years after Pirates of the Carribian isn't popular and have no swashbuckling in the game. They seriously thought gamers wanted to play a sailing simulator lol.

The let's spend more money on dead star wars franchise and instead of using the only popular thing about star wars the OT we will throw in an ugly chick.

Oh and let's make a Japanese Assassin's but have it star George Floyd beating the shit out of asians and fill it with hip hop.

The entire leadership should be sacked along with anyone who went along with these billion dollar boondongles. But they won't they will fail upwards and the right wing will take the blame.

Ubi makes firewalk studios look like 2000s Bungie. As much as a fail Concord was Ubi takes the cake for dumbest publisher in the galaxy.

As long as Nintendo survives, I really don't give a shit, tbh...
The last good Ubi game that I remember was Rayman Legends in 2013...

Let them all burn.

Before, I would say "C'mon, the Division games, Far Cry, Ass Creed games have been great.". Now? Fuck Ubisoft. I hope no one plays their woke bullshit games.

Just more evidence that Ubislop games are never worth getting day one. Hit me up next year when the game costs a tenner and has actually finished development.

Good for them that they're still working on that game despite Ubi struggling and the game not delivering the sales they need.

Not a success

I think it's safe to say that people are just generally tired of open world Ubisoft games. This may be the straw that broken the camel's back. It's also quite clear that the gameplay wasn't really up to scratch, and this was not helped by the game having quite a buggy launch. The patches were too slow. And who can forget, of course, that early adopters had to restart the game because of the game-breaking bug. Just bad press for this one all around, understandable why people were hesitant to jump in.

Well, I think that pretty much sums up everything. Pretty straightforward why this game underperformed and it definitely was not anything else.

Hope Ubisoft can come back stronger!

Seems like they don't promote Steam releases at all. Just stealth drop them. Shadows should do better I hope.

Was right there at the store front for me, big banner. Dunno about pre-release announcements, I didn't follow the game at all.

New News!
The devs admit that so few players have interest in their game, that no one, not ONE single player has unlocked a mount from completing some mini-games.

They have so little self awareness they said this thinking it would add mystery and intrigue to their game.
