I saw a picture the other day that showed a ton of unlockable clothing in a shop type screen in-game. Some of it's probably accessories, but a lot of them are probably for whole costumes.
I hope there's a way to keep it through the entire game - like you could with Leon's starting outfit in RE2R.

Not sure if I'm going to March over and buy a physical copy or not tomorrow morning.
Apparently there are two unlockable outfits:
Gas Mask Leon – Beat the game on Professional difficulty. Although no extra bonuses are given to Leon for equipping this outfit, he does look rather cool.
Knight Armor Ashley – Beat the game on Hardcore difficulty or higher with an A rank or better. With this outfit, Ashley is immune to damage and can't be carried away by enemies anymore.

It's already almost here... I've been so busy with life, I never had time to wait for the remake of possibly the best RE game ever. I'll pick it up tomorrow before work. Maybe delve into it on Monday and Tuesday when I'm off.
I've not seen much of this, which is what I want. Don't want to see any of the changes. Glad to see it seems to be doing the original justice, based upon the reviews I've quickly scanned.

I'm so conflicted about seeing this movie because 1) I loathe long movies and 2) JW3 was pretty lacklustre so I don't have high hopes. But all the previews and word of mouth have been great. So dunno, maybe I'll go Sunday or Monday night.
I was watching a bunch of reviews on this today. makes me wish I had more time. It had me trying to remember the bits and bobs from RE4 when I played it on the GCN and again on the Wii. There is so much I dont remember!

Do you play with RT enabled? Any crashes with it or did the lowering if the texture quality fix it?

I was playing with RT enabled and yea i had to lower the texture quality to 1gb to keep it from crashing. I guess RT really ups the VRAM usage.

3 chaps in, and it's fun so far, but ngl the environments feel cluttered af.
I kind of miss the clean simplicity of the original. The environments are so busy that it's easy to lose track of enemy projectiles in some areas.
Also, there's a lot of charm missing here imo. Especially in the voice acting.

I cannot get out of The Village part. Dr. Salvador keeps turning me into mincemeat. I don't want to lower the difficulty though. I beat the original RE4 like 3 times. It's hardcore or bust but the dude doesn't die and I want his sweet reward so I'm not running around like an idiot. I'm going to take a small break and try again in a bit.
Edit: Village part is down and so is our pal with the chainsaw. Honestly I overcomplicated things, the handgun and headshots were key in taking him down. The shotgun is overrated in that fight.

Made it to chapter 3. So far really liking it. The parry mechanic is nice. Playing on regular but honestly struggling a bit with the mobs.
Which is good for a horror action game, has to be tense tbh.
