I can give you MAYBE a top 5.
Yep. Lol. I love the spirit, but this E3 wasn't that good.
1: Zelda. For the first real time, I'm excited for this game, and can see a path forward for reusing the Hyrule from the first game, and still creating something full of surprise and fun. With the crazy amount of trailer breakdowns and theorizing, even this very short look seemed to fire everyone's imaginations as to how a sequel like this could work.
2: Metroid. I wasn't too sure about Mercurysteam, and still have doubts, but watching their Treehouse demonstration of it, got me so, so excited. There's a lot to love here, and I really hope the final product is extraordinary as possible. Particularly given how long-awaited this sequel is, and that it'll be closing the book on a chapter of the Metroid series that's been running since 1986. I'll settle for great, but it really has to be extraordinary.
3: Advance Wars. Yep, it's a pair of old games with (mostly) lovely brand-new visuals and no changes. I couldn't be happier. I love AW, and being able to play it on a modern system that I use every day (ish), with modern visuals, and modern amenities like online play and wireless versus, is honestly all I need. Bonus points if this somehow revives the series.
4: Forza 5. 4 was pretty incredible, and the ante has been upped on visuals yet again. This is probably going to be a lot of fun, and a complete showpiece for my 4KTV and Series X. I couldn't ask for more.
5: Series X Mini Fridge. You want it. I want it. Let's not lie to ourselves.
