I have to say that Metroid Dread looks amazing. It's my pick. I wish it was Prime, but I guess Prime 4 is still in development, right? Plus wasn't there supposed to be a Switch release for Prime Trilogy? I'd go next with Elden Ring, just because I love me some GRR Martin and From Soft and know it will be good. I'd also have to say BotW 2. It took a long while for the first to grow on me, but when it did it was pretty special. I'm hoping the new one does away with the annoying weapons system.

I wanted to be impressed by Starfield and Halo, but they just didn't show anything. CG movies can fuck right off. Show me the damn game.

In terms of things, I'm looking forward to I couldn't give a particular order but I guess. Triple AAAs: -

Starfield...a Hardish Sci-fi RPG....sign me up straight away. The obvious caveat is it's Bethesda here, but at the same time that Creation Engine 2 it's looking pretty good.

A plague Tale: Requiem Absolutely loved the first game but was quite surprised it was greenlit a sequel given Asobo are the team working on MS Flight Simulator. Super pumped about that one.

Beyond that a bunch of indie titles mainly: -

Mechajammer, Replaced, Sable, Silt, Planet of Lana, Vampire the Masquerade:Swansong, Far Changing tides, Somerville, Trek to Yomi

I dare say that there are a few missing off the list, but I'm solely looking at it from the perspective of games I think I'd actually get around to playing. Buoyed to see another Souls game with Elden Ring, but realistically having not even have tapped into DS 2 or 3 despite owning them for ages...no point pretending I'm up for another one. It's same deal with Farcry 6...looks great, but I never finished 4 once the decision paralysis kicked in and barely scratched 5 even though I was all up for it at the time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Stalker 2
I hope they deliver on that one. Looks incredible and they nailed the atmosphere.

Replaced
This game had the biggest impact on me. Love the style and am praying for the gameplay to be at least half as good as the visuals.

Xbox Mini Fridge
It's the best. So cool.

Elden Ring
I love me some Souls, so I'm semi hyped for it. Looks fun. I don't like the idea of an open world design for these kind of games, so I hope that it goes more into the "interconnected" direction instead of a classic open world structure with lots of travel.

Project Warlock 2
Retro shooters are my jam, and this one looks to be retro, and coincidentally, a shooter. So I'm in. It looks great. Come at me.

Atomic Heart
While I don't think that it'll come out of development hell and be an instant classic, I believe it'll be rough but crazy fun. It's on my wishlist since .. forever.

Plague Tale Requiem
Made a good impression and based on the quality of the first game, of course I'm looking forward to this one.

Severed Steel
Fast movement focussed shooter with a cool vibe. Obviously low budget, but has potential.

Halo
Hunt the night
Metroid
12 minutes
Party animals
Dungeon and dragons
Red fall
Hello neighbor 2
Among us
The ascent
Stalkers 2
Back 4 blood
Maybe rainbow six

Don't have a top 10, but Elden Ring, Breath of the Wild 2, Diablo II release date, STALKER 2, and Plague Tale Requiem all got me pretty excited.\

Elden Ring gameplay reveal made the show for me.

Let's see if I can find 10 games:

- A Plage Tale: Requiem (first game was phenomenal)
- Halo Infinite (I just want more Halo)
- 12 Minutes (really interesting concept)
- Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 (see you 2023 ...)
- Hades (thank you, GamePass)
- Forza Horizon 5 (hope my gpu is strong enough)
- Age of Empires 4 (finally knights and swords again, yay)
- Atomic Heart (looks weird, could be nice)
- Riders' Republic (I enjoyed Steep)
- Danganronpa Collection (not sure, but I might give this franchise a try)

Starfield just looked disappointing, very bad animations. SMT5 has terrible design for the hero and also looked rough. And I'm just shocked at how little Nintendo has for me to look forward to :/ I just pre-ordered Metroid Dread, not because I'm the biggest 2D-Metroid fan, but because I found an offer for the Special Edition at 80 Euro. Will be able to play it and resell for a good price.

GamePass really will define 2021 for me.

I can give you MAYBE a top 5.
Yep. Lol. I love the spirit, but this E3 wasn't that good.

1: Zelda. For the first real time, I'm excited for this game, and can see a path forward for reusing the Hyrule from the first game, and still creating something full of surprise and fun. With the crazy amount of trailer breakdowns and theorizing, even this very short look seemed to fire everyone's imaginations as to how a sequel like this could work.

2: Metroid. I wasn't too sure about Mercurysteam, and still have doubts, but watching their Treehouse demonstration of it, got me so, so excited. There's a lot to love here, and I really hope the final product is extraordinary as possible. Particularly given how long-awaited this sequel is, and that it'll be closing the book on a chapter of the Metroid series that's been running since 1986. I'll settle for great, but it really has to be extraordinary.

3: Advance Wars. Yep, it's a pair of old games with (mostly) lovely brand-new visuals and no changes. I couldn't be happier. I love AW, and being able to play it on a modern system that I use every day (ish), with modern visuals, and modern amenities like online play and wireless versus, is honestly all I need. Bonus points if this somehow revives the series.

4: Forza 5. 4 was pretty incredible, and the ante has been upped on visuals yet again. This is probably going to be a lot of fun, and a complete showpiece for my 4KTV and Series X. I couldn't ask for more.

5: Series X Mini Fridge. You want it. I want it. Let's not lie to ourselves.

That's really all that stood out to me, tbh. There may be others, but I'm failing to think of any. Everything else either didn't show much gameplay (real or in-engine) or didn't pique my interest.
