My opinion? 8bitdo is better at making controllers than Nintendo is. I loved my Switch Pro controller, but that analog stick is complete trash, and the dpad had issues from day 1. I really haven't gotten to play Switch with the controller enough to compare rumble, but literally everything else about this controller is on par or superior to the Nintendo Pro controller. The one thing this doesn't have is Amiibo support. It supports motion. The analog sticks are drift proof. To wake up the Switch, you can shake the controller after powering it on. It's terrific, and i plan on playing TotK with this controller.
Note: I've owned this controller for a few months. So far, I've gotten to play Mario 3D World, Bowser's Fury, Metroid Prime Remastered and Mario Kart 8D mostly. I've really enjoyed my time with the controller. It's just that I don't feel like I've really gotten to sink more than maybe a dozen hours into it.
