Thread: Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection IOTI As Thrilling As The Next Adventure May Be, In The End, You’re Always Left With That Same Feeling
Official Thread
Playing on a 77" Oled and having played through these games quite a few times, I am tempted to go Ultra Widescreen on this.

Just realized this and Plague Tale come out within a day of each other WTF Sony. They are similar type games as well, narrative-action. I'd be a bit pissed if I was Asobo Studios. Suppose this only affect PC players but still...

£40.49 here;

NO DLSS in the PC release. Probably going to wait until a good sale before i pick this up. Nathan Drake's collection would have been a day 1 for me.

That's definitely a shame. DLSS is pretty amazing and the performance boost would come in handy here.

In a weird way I just pre-ordered this for £30.

When I got one of my SSD's I got a £50 Gamesplanet voucher so I pre-ordered Plague Tale 2 for £43. Anyways CD Keys since listed Plague Tale 2 for £30. So i pre-ordered Uncharted at Gamesplanet for free, cancelled Plague Tale and bought that over at CD Keys for £30.

This is the last game I would like to play on Deck.
Uncharted is a game that is made for huge OLED, 4k, HDR and so on. The immersion and spectacle!
I replayed the 4k30 remaster this year and it plays great.

PC version will be great except dualsense features only will work wired and 3d audio is probably not there?
I will consider getting it (lol and why not try it on deck as well) but I will probably just replay the 4k40/unlocked fps on ps5 again. I love this game

3D Audio is good but nothing beats a good surround sound setup. Can't wait 4K 120FPS on my 4090.

My only problem is this and Plague Tale within 1 day of each other. PC gamers get to experience some of the best games ever 💕

This kinda shows how arbitrary the release of Sony ports are, seems like they are sitting on a lot of them and are just spacing them out.

Yeah I'm still waiting on Last of Us: Part 1 they said would be out "shortly" after PS5 release. I mean they are stepping it up a bit God of War, Spiderman, Spiderman: MM, Little Big Planet, Uncharted 4, Lost Legacy all this year alone. Returnal PC is also happening.

If I was Sony is say some of the heavy hitters for later too Ghost, Bloodborne, Last of Us: Part 2 etc.

TLoU Part I would be the first PS5 only game ported, I think Returnal will come out before that.

Dreams and Bloodborne not getting ports blows my mind, what a lack of vision from their part.

I still don't understand why they didn't include the trilogy/collection. Well, I understand...money, lol. But they could have released it as a separate package at least. It doesn't make a lot of sense to introduce a series to a potentially new crowd and *not* offer them the beginnings of the franchise imho. I've played and loved them all (except Golden Abyss, maybe I'll get to it one day), and I'd pick them up again on pc, but I'd have been more ready to do it sooner if they'd put all the games on Steam. As it is, I'll wait for a sale and/or the full package, if that ever comes.

Any detailed impressions of the mouse and keyboard controls? That's the main thing that will determine if I pick this up or not.

Just curious - do you play everything with M&K? Personally, I just use whatever works best for the game - controller or M&K, but Uncharted seems like it lends itself much more to a controller imho. I couldn't imagine playing games of its ilk with M&K.

I almost always prefer M&K if the gameplay requires aiming.

The gameplay experience of Days Gone, for example, is vastly improved on PC thanks to the great M&K controls.

3rd person shooters play so much better with mkb. I even played UC4 with mkb hooked up to my PS4 Pro back then. It was a way better experience than with a controller. Makes aiming more precise and direct, helped me a lot to feel more like a hero in an action movie and pulling of insane combat scenarios that wouldn't be possible with the limitations of a controller.

I suppose it's what you are acclimated to. I understand the precision aspect of M&K, but for me it just feels "wrong", lol Granted, I play most things with controller outside of a few genres/titles. Despite the finer aspects of control, I like gaming with controller in-hand, if possible.

Wonder if I could (or can I?) use an analog stick for movement and mouse for aiming... That would be perfect for me, as I find any kind of movement/actions via keyboard to not feel good. Likewise, aiming with a thumbstick sucks, too. I know the Steam Controller and Deck (I have both) have track pads, which are apparently amazing for a lot of people, but I seem to have something wrong with my thumbs that prevents them from making good contact no matter how I position them, resulting in mouse movements skipping around.

Photo below was taken yesterday to show my "thumbs." Personally, I don't see anything wrong with them. *shrug*

No HDR and broken motion blur are a big issues for me. wtf were they thinking.
Another big issue is pcmr crown loudly acknowledging superiority. Yes. It's a 2015 game running on rout 3090. of course it runs at 100fps. cmon now.
2070 is 40% slower than ps5 at 4k.

hook a dualsense/dualshock4 up to steam, set up the gyro and play with the best of both worlds.

Seriously dude, cannot stress enough using the DS/DS4 for gyro aiming. It's like having a mouse built into your controller. You can even set it up to use both the stick and gyro if it suits you. I've been playing Cyberpunk, Doom3 and CoD with it and having a blast.

Disappointing port. Their engine is so specifically tailored for the PlayStation, that it surely took a lot of work to even make it run and look like that on PC. After building their engine and tools very specifically for the PS consoles and getting the last bit of performance out of them.

Hope it'll get better in the future and that they're not gimping it on purpose too much. They'll never go all out, making the PC look leagues better obviously. But some more improvements would be nice.

Iron Galaxy contributing to the port probably didn't help.
