Reminder that UFC is going to be lit as fuck this weekend. Over 10 solid match ups. Such a stealth killer card honestly.

Looks like I will only miss the first hour of the main card live. Exciting for Kais match

Just noticed Erik Anders vs Chris Weidman on the early prelims which was a fight I was excited for last PPV

Card has some interesting fights to me Evloev vs Sterling and Luque vs Gorimbo could be good ones

Damn Gane broke his toes in the first round but still won. He's not happy about the fight

Gane totally lost that fight. That was some bad judging. Rd1 was close, but I could give it to Gane. But he lost Rd2 & Rd3 to Volkov. Volkov was robbed.

Main event total dud for all the hype about the Japanese kid who was every bit weaker than his opponent

Illl allow it. Overall the card was money. This was one of those epic 'B-Side' cards. And honestly Rd1 was fun. Clearly Asakura was there to scrap. He just kept trying to force stuff and Pantoja took advantage of that. Eager vs confident honestly.

Was excited that the UFC drought ends tomorrow...til I looked at the card. No slight to Dern, but thats a weak main event and the rest of the card is underwhelming on paper.

Luckily Next week we have UFC 311 and it looks very solid with about 8 good fights. Might even see the death of Johnny Walker at the hands of a relatively unknown Uzbek!

The video doesn't give definitive evidence at why they think Khabib would be unsafe sitting in an exit row. It seems to imply it is because he speaks/reads English below their standard. On the one hand I can understand that one needs to be able to read the instructions on opening the door. But I also believe that they don't hassle many folks in similar situations. Until evidence implies otherwise, I am going to assume this due to his look (and that of his his entourage) As cold, bearded Muslim men who speak broken English and said.....they cannot be trusted.

Here is an example of his English

Curtis vs Kopylov was amzing. Kopylov gave Curtis a tko at the very last second! Very technical fight both of them were neck to neck

UFC 311 was pretty awesome. RDR and Jiri (further) proving that Champs from Rizin and OneFC are the real deal. Guskov looked showed his potential for being a top 10 fighter soon. And Islam was true to form despite a very game Moicano.

Damn Riddler did a good job getting Holland by submission in the first round. I thought It would go longer than that

Here in slow mo and a different angle. So slick!

Not the strongest card by any means, but the last three fights should be fun. Will this be the end of the line for Tim Johnson or will he finally get some revenge on FedorTeam. Cards are definitely stacked against him with Nemkov, but he does have one punch KO power, so he has a chance.

PFL Road to Dubai: starting at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT today
Usman Nurmagomedov (154.9) vs. Paul Hughes (155)
Tim Johnson (264.2) vs. Vadim Nemkov (242.4)
Nathan Kelly (145.6) vs. Akhmed Magomedov (145.7)
Ibragim Ibragimov (146) vs. Kenny Mokhonoana (147)*
Cleiver Fernandes (135.9) vs. Renat Khavalov (136)
Tarek Suleiman (194) vs. Ahmed Sami (199.6)**
Mirafzal Akhtamov (156) vs. Mike Thompson (155.4)
Hadi Omar Al Hussaini (125.3) vs. Ruel Panales (126)
John Mitchell (155.2) vs. Souhil Tahiri (155.8)
Haider Khan (185.5) vs. Mostafa Rashed Nada (184.6)

We have an early UFC tomorrow! Pavlovich/Rozenstruik and Shara/MVP should both be fire fights.

Izzy with three consecutive losses. Interesting.

And 4 of the last 5. No matter how you slice things, its bad for the last style bender. Not sure what his contract has left in it, but I assume Dana will give him one more fight (if he wants it) to save himself...or to hang himself.

It feels like Izzy was special because of a few genius moments but always on the edge of not pulling it off. Like, he had these amazing sparks, but not that consistent.

We have UFC 312 this weekend. On the whole it looks like pretty weak card besides the main event. DDP vs Strickland rematch for the MW belt.

Who yall like?

Since their last meeting (which was a razor close split decision) DDP submitted Izzy in the 4th and Strickland easily beat Costa in a 5 round unanimous decision.

So for me, i think it's a repeat of the first match. Neither one has shown any major changes. So if it's like the first match I think all Strickland needs to do is stay on the gas. In the first one I think he thought he was up on the score cards and kinda coasted in Rds 3 & 4.

As you say, I reckon it'll be just five more rounds of the same thing as the first five. Hoping Sean gets it done. Agree on the rest of the card being pretty whatever too.

Just checked the betting odds and it looks like DDP is the favorite at about -215 and and Strickland at +175. To me this seems right to me...though I would personally bet Strickland (If I gambled on fights).
