I always like to release the OTs a bit early, so all the new information and trailers can be discussed leading up to the release. Also, building up some excitement.

Thanks so much! Will share my impressions and also give a comparison of what changed after the demo. There were a couple things that weren't great, but the devs were aware and promised to fix them. I played the shit out of the demo and will give my analysis
I might have to go for the deluxe edition just for the Pinoccio outfit...

I was pretty surprised by the game at first, because the reveal made a great first impression. Then, I was disappointed and sceptical after seeing some gameplay that looked like a blatant Bloodborne rip off. But after playing the demo, I'm confident in the game, it feels unique enough, has some new cool ideas and already felt well polished, with good level design and interesting enemy encounters.

No, but I had a good joke and god damn I was going to use it. Well I'm in no rush so I'll wait to see if it gets THE D pad sign of approval. I think main think for me is that the levels and exploration is interesting. That's where I felt Nioh 1 let itself down a little.
Nioh had pretty bad level design and exploration tbh. I loved the game for its combat, but the levels were sub par with forced shortcuts that didn't make much sense in many cases. This one is definitely better than Nioh regarding its level design and at least judging by the demo, very close to the Souls games in my opinion.
They're dropping videos left and right, but spoiling too much for me. Here are boss fights, I won't watch it though.

Getting some good solid reviews so far, may even end up above 80 MC score. I was expecting around 70 so very nice indeed.
I'll be playing it on Gamepass anyway so it didnt real;ly matter but i'm glad its reviewing well.

Totally missed that the reviews are out today, caught me off guard. Expected them to drop when the Early Access starts.

Reception is very good and very much to my liking, the criticism aren't really significant for me. Looking forward to experiment with the cool weapon system where you can mix up different parts of different weapons, combining their attributes.

Somehow, despite being aware or this game and quite looking forward to it since it was announced, I am only just now learning that it's about bloody Pinoccio.

The game being based on Pinocchio isn't actually something that resonated with me tbh, it seemed kinda weird and still does. But the demo convinced me, the style and setting are pretty damn good, I don't mind it now.

Trying to get stoked for this, but a Souls game where you star as Pinocchio just sounds lame.

That was my first reaction as well. But it's only an inspiration and the game is very Bloodborne like with a few story beats from Pinocchio, it's pretty dark.
Very good MC and OC scores, awesome achievement for a studio with their first shot at a big game of this kind.

Yeah to be fair, I was ripping on the protagonist a year ago. Still not the biggest fan of how he looks but I mean, how badass can you REALLY make Pinocchio look? Demo was too good and was like BB with its own twist so it's easy to overlook.
Yeah totally agree here. At least he can get some cool costumes and badass weapons.
Game mixes so many Souls mechanics it's kinda funny.
Aesthetic and art design inspired by Bloodborne
Immediately after taking damage, attack the enemy and get some health back = Bloodborne
Your mechanical arm = Sekiro
One large hub place with multiple NPCs = Demons Souls
Friendly magic lady that levels you up after you talk to her = different Souls games
Weapon arts and special attacks = Elden Ring
Such a Frankenstein game.
Incidentally Lies Of P is how I convince ladies to go to bed with me.
