Nice! We're you able to farm throwables somewhere? They were very limited in my launch version run and I couldn't use them as much as I wanted.
One merchant sold throwables. He's in a house on the second floor somewhere..don't remember the specific location/stargazer

I know an remember him. He sold like 3 and then it was sold out lol.

Game must have been unplayable on that first patch tbh.

Throwables were a rare luxury. If you had some and wanted to used them for a boss fight, better learn his patterns and git gud, because if you used the throwables and didn't beat him, no throwables for you anymore.

If I could restock them, the game would've been way easier because they're pretty powerful.

Yeah by the time I bought throwables to prep for the laxasia fight, I had the max I could carry on me and a few extras in storage. This would be close to 30 hours into the game at that point. Playing for 30 hours and having less than 10 each is pretty scarce.

Had a shit ton of fable charge/legion charge that I never touched though.

I'm a bit LTTP but what's everyone's favorite weapon? Mine is the Etiquette. I'm at the swamp area.

The winter theme looks quite nice. I can't tell if it's all new areas or they just winterized some of the old ones. Also can't tell if it's a brand new game or a DLC. Looks like it might be a separate game because they're calling it a prequel.

Edit: just saw the #DLC tag in the video description.

I'm not. Beat the first one pre nerf. Painful. And they might go the FROM route and make it harder than the base game.

Also beat it pre nerf. I thought it was pretty on par for most Souls games as far as difficulty. Phase 2 for Laxasia and Nameless were the only fights that I found to be a giant pain. Honestly after playing through multiple times, memorization really kicks in and makes things easier.

I've beaten all the Soulsborne games, and most of the bigger Soulslikes. Lies of P was one of the most difficult for me. Up there with Sekiro. I understand it's a lot easier now, though.

Incidentally, I quit Black Myth due to the difficulty. I'm sure I wasn't doing things the right way, but it pissed me the fuck off, especially after all of the "it's not a Soulslike, it's more like GoW" reviews.

You know, it's funny that you mention this and Sekiro being the most difficult. I wonder if that's because these two games really rely heavily on the parry mechanic. I play Black Myth that way too. Almost ignore dodge and parry everything. You more of a dodge player? If so, I can see why these games would get annoying.

Yep. The only Souls game I like to parry in is Demon's Souls, simply because the window is ludicrously large.

Lies of P looks really good, and is very good from reception I've seen. Being called on par with FROM, or even better is damned high praise. I will likely try at some point if it ever goes below the $35.00 mark especially with a new DLC upcoming.

Also while the sequel hints at
Dorothy in a Bloodborne-like?, I think a massive CRPG Wizard of Oz could be amazing. Ditto Baldur's Gate/Pathfinder scale CRPGs for Lord of the Rings, John Carter of Mars, Conan the Barbarian, Warhammer Fantasy, Warcraft and Diablo.
