I wonder if they'll fix the rain?
The actual patch is kind of interesting.
They locked in the release build 5 months ago, and just carried out iterative patches on that up to launch. However, the 1.2 Patch has been worked on separately on a different build all that time looking to optimise the game even more and address issues the team weren't happy with.
I'm anticipating 'Large' will be the order of the day.
It'll be interesting to see the patch notes!
Definitely, I haven't really encountered any major bugs at all. I think got stuck in terrain at one point right after I rescued Mutt when I went on the rocks above where you rescue him. However, it cost me all of 5 minutes to free myself. Also during the wedding I bet on Capon to win in his duel and he did, but when confronting him with Ennelyn (I did the Millers quest) I say 'You cost me money'. Otherwise it's all been good so far.
Tbh same here. I've had the odd graphical glitch here and there nothing worse than that.
Patch 1.2 lands on the 13th

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - Patch 1.2 Arrives March 13 – Modding, Barber Mode and more - Steam News
Patch 1.2 launches on Thursday, March 13, bringing modding support, Barber Mode, and a host of improvements.store.steampowered.com
In other news finally made it to the Kuttenberg map yesterday, although I haven't explored it yet. Gotta say the whole Trotsky Castle adventure was quite a trip. I wonder whether it will even be safe to travel back to Trosky now, given how events played out. I would imagine Henry is likely less than welcome there. For the most part, though I did pretty much all the side content AFAIK, although the Gameskeeper wanted me to help him out with something so maybe Henry can sneak back?
Also that escape section was tough through the forest. My initial instinct was to stealth up and murder my way through all of the patrolling guards but ultimately it made more sense to just sneak through and avoid them. Also I gave Istvan the option for a fair fight and Godwin really railed on me for that, which was justified in retrospect, although Toth was pretty easy to despatch when all is said and done. I figured as I likely wouldn't be coming back I'd loot the hell out of Trosky as well.
Is everyon gay yet though

I've banged a bunch of 15th century wenches and peasants, but haven't come across anything gay yet?

Full Notes: -
I ran across a bug where this herbwoman in the Kuttenberg region is always hostile for some reason. It's kind of annoying cause if I want to trade with her I have to sneak up unnoticed for the prompt!
I've been out of town for a week, but that patch looks massive. I hope it doesn't break my mods!
I'm here to report that the rain still looks goofy, even after the patch.
They said in the recent livestream that patch 1.2 was principally gameplay fixes and bugs, but they would look into other matters such as the rain effect with later patches. If you search scan the notes they fixed instances of it raining in a couple of buildings.
Yeah I noticed that they fixed the indoor rain thing. I've also noticed a bunch of graphical glitches that weren't present before the patch. Stuff like sudden lod transitions or flickering textures. Nothing huge but it appears to be more frequent than before. Could be coincidence?
I'm stunned at how many and how much bigger the communities are in the second map. I haven't even hit Kuttenberg yet! I wonder when (if?) I'll be able to go back to Trosky cause I got shit to do there still.
Also, why the hell would they change the photo mode toggle from "press R3 and L3" to "awkwardly press the options button and touch pad". I've acquired a vast collection of photos of me jumping over npc's, and this has made things exponentially harder.

Hit me up if you're looking for more. I have tons.
This second map is ridiculous, there's so much stuff to do. I think I'll head over to the city tonight and see what that's all about. Does anyone know where there are some high stakes dice tables? Playing with no badge and for !0 groschen is getting played out. I'm much better than these fools.
It really use. After the excitement at the end of the first map, going back to just wandering around and doing side quests (although so many of them are really enjoyable) was a bit of a letdown in terms of pacing, but I'm still really enjoying the game. Taking it a bit slower these last couple of weeks, but still well over 70 hours in now.
Game is still going strong in popularity on Steam, having more concurrent players than the newly released AC Shadows with its huge marketing budget and brand name.
Curious about the sales split on this one regarding PC and consoles, I'd imagine it's quite PC centric but the console versions are really good and it doesn't seem to be unpopular on consoles.
