I'm a huge fan of pizza pies man, but bacon is kind of overkill on pizza. Idk why but the combo of good pizza dough, good marinara, and fresh mozzarella with some Italian spices and herbs kind of lessens the power of bacon. I'd rather save it for eggs and toast, cheeseburgers, BLTs, etc. If it's a thin crust pizza with bacon and a ton of very finely cut piece of garlic all over the pizza, some jalapenos? Then it's going to be great. Pineapple and bacon is also a great combo, I'll have to try adding garlic to that combo next time
Before I start my new thread on sammiches, I had to come back to this for the lulz. Missed this one. Love Portney.... But that mfker trashed Jack's pizza for being floppy (I make it floppy on purpose for that NY style) and Digiorno cheese for being meh. The reason you get Digiorno..... 1, the crust. It's fking amazing. 2, you don't get cheese. You get 3 meat or supreme.
There's never a need for bacon on pizza imo. Unless it's only a couple ingredients. Takes away from everything else. Too potent. Old world pepp is best. Why is it call old world? I think that's some fancy shit they came up with to sell cupped pepperoni lol

I have no limits of what I'll put on my pizza. Had an alligator pizza this summer.
So you are okay with pineapple on pizza too? In Australia we call ham and pineapple on Pizza a Hawaiian pizza and it's one of my favourites.

It's basically a salad thrown on top of a ham and cheese pizza. I think if they were going to throw any random thing on a pizza, coleslaw would be pretty cool. With plenty of mayonnaise to accompany it of course.

I must confess..... I had to try the "viral" Domino's pizza last night that had bacon on it. Not worth. Wasn't bad but nothing special. Domino's just sucks overall.

Domino's has never been good. It wasn't good in the early 80's and it isn't good now. Always go to the hole in the wall sole proprietorship before settling for Domino's. The thing is Domino's has consistently tasted the same since the early 80's. So you have hand it to them on that.
To compare/contrast. Pizza Hut USED to be pretty good (totality of hte 80's). Now they are like Domino's. Weird.

I remember Domino's tasting better before their new sauces and crust. It just tastes like pure salt now. Pizza slut used to be way better too.
Obviously hole in the wall is choice. I rarely ever go to Domino's. If I do, it's cuz I'm drunk and want food delivered now on the cheap. That said.... I paid a ricockulous $34 for a medium pizza and chicken bites. And that was after using a coupon deal. Delivery charge and tip itself came to $10. It's nuts.
But the good pizza places, if I'm having them deliver, I'm paying $40 at least for a couple za's. So I rarely order delivery anymore. Of all the chains, I have to say papa John's is the best tasting and price. But I've never been in delivery range of one.

Coscto is better than Dominos, and Coscto isn't the best national chain for pizzas. Pizza Hut hasn't been good since the early 80's.
Next you will proclaim that McDonalds is the best Hamburger national chain or has the best chicken nuggies.
Their quarter pounders are pretty damn good these days, but the other burgers they use for regular burgers are straight ass. Their fries 90% of the time are miss. Culver's is probably the best burger chain we have in the Midwest. And the fries are always hot and crispy.
