Look....I love bacon. Everyone loves bacon. Vegans love bacon, even if they won't admit it. But polish my nuts and serve me a milkshake because I don't like it on pizza 90% of the time.

There is a reason for this....and I want someone else to say it so I'm not insane. Here's a hint: I'm not a huge fan of all meat pizza either.

Bacon and pineapple is amazing. Also chicken and bacon.

Meat lover's pizza is only good to actual meat lovers. I refuse to believe that hodgepodge is enjoyed by anyone other than people who love gobblin salty sausage.

On the flipside I'm not a big fan of supreme pizza either. I can never decide if it's the black olives or green peppers that fuck it all up.

I only eat meat lover's or chicken alfredo/carbonara pizzas (chicken, italian sausage, and bacon with a white sauce or richer) out, so the bacon is pretty fundamental to me.

But then I don't eat crust outside of making Fathead dough, so I really just like meat, cheese, and sauce anyway.

I like bacon on pizza but it really depends on the place that's making it. When it's a chain and they just order dehydrated bacon clumps, it's not that great. But like actual bacon chopped up? That's some good shit.

It depends on the pizza and the place, with red sauce not crazy for it but with a alfredo sauce like chicken and bacon much more appetizing + highly depends if they use the pre-cooked kind or cook themselves.
Working at a pizza shop back in my younger days it was a top 3 topping but personally wouldn't be my topping of choice

Bacon is good on pizza. It has a nice distinct flavour that contrasts well with the other meats.

In contrast to the OP, I actually prefer it on pizzas as I think it tastes better mixed with other ingredients.

Bacon on pizza. Bacon on burgers. Bacon in salads.

I'm pretty sure you can put Bacon in a cake or pie and it will work...

I feel like this also became a pineapple on pizza thread. Pineapple is amazing on pizza. I don't know why. I don't need to. It just works.

Meat lovers....I'll eat it, but very rarely is it my choice to order. It's just too much damn meat and the flavors just overtake each other in, as you put it, a hodgepodge.

I love supreme, but there are different kinds of supreme which runs all the way up to a garbage or works pizza. If it tastes too salty, it's probably the green olives. Otherwise, too many green peppers can be overpowering, especially if they were thrown on raw.

I can only do it on certain pizzas, mainly with chicken and alfredo, but still prefer it without. Cheeseburger pizza, absolutely throw that shit on with some pickles, maybe even mustard. See below.

So....the main reason I don't like bacon on pizza is it drowns out most other ingredients. It's just too potent of flavor. It's mainly all I taste in meatlovers. But yeah, bacon with anything else.

Tropical pizza is amazing, bacon, ham, pineapple and marascino cherries.

When I was a little kid I was excited to try pork. I begged my mom to take me to McDonalds to try a hamburger. She did so reluctantly and I ordered a quarter pounder. It is no exaggeration to say that it was the most rancid shit I've ever tried in my life. Two bites was the most I could muster.

Later on when I was like 10 at my friend's place I accidentally ate something I didn't know was pork and could tell immediately something was off in a bad way. Stopped eating after one bite. My friend's grandpa came in and started yelling at the friend because he fed me pork.

That's my experience with 🐷

It has been so long since I had bacon on a pizza, I don't even remember if I liked it or was ambivalent about it. I will vote nay, because it isn't a topping I even remember ordering, ever, rather I have only had it on a pizza someone else ordered.

The real question is BBQ Sauce and Chicken. That shit is foul. Literally.
