I'd go for it mate. I suspect *some* of my initial problems were due to a unstable CPU undervolt I initially had. I definitely intend to go back to it someday soon.

Yeah, I agree. I finished it in about 20 or so hours and I enjoyed it. It did get repetitive though, towards the end. And the AI was bad.

It takes a while to warm up to this game, I give you that. But it gets much better after about 4 hours or so, if you have the patience.

Yep, fair enough. I really wanted to see what all the fuss was about, and I liked all of Arcane's previous games, so I was willing to give it the benefit of a doubt. I enjoyed it quite a lot after the first few hours.

The loop gameplay might not be for everyone, admittedly.

Same here.

Cringy dialogue. Zoomer low-attention-span energy. Uncontrollable character animation and emoting.

This all resulted in a poor first 30 min. of the game for me, so I just uninstalled it.

Prey wore out its welcome but the story was a lot more cohesive. The forces sexual diversity got old too but I could at least overlook it.
Deathloop just feels like an unfocused mess. It could have been an interesting idea but half of the time it's just hard to give a shit in what they delivered
