Im sure it will be using AI similar to sentiment quality management systems used in contact centres that can guage the intent, context and emotion of the language spoken. Then the system will flag it and send it to a blue hair. Yea scary shit because this stuff is extremely clever.

I honestly don't think there is any game that's good enough that you'd want to give the developer/publisher permission to record your conversations during gameplay.
Genuinely concerning if there are enough people who are absolutely fine with this.
I totally get that they want to stamp out bullying and abuse but this just doesn't seem like the way to go about it.

I wish people would put their money where their mouth is and stopped feeding these beasts. It's the same problem we have with the sterilization/woke-ification of games where probably 99% of those doing all the complaining about these type of policies are buying Sony, Microsoft, Netflix, Disney, etc products/services.

I now want to program a voice modulator to change any word spoken to be the sounds any number of various farts, explosive diarrhea splatter (in a toilet and outside against a block wall), vomiting and random moist open mouth chewing.

The gaf thread on this topic is insane. Half of the posters are cheering this on so it stops cheaters and are defending handing over their phone numbers with "corporations have our data anyway". Then they go on to say it's easy to get a burner phone (added cost to play a game) but then say 2fa will stop spam accounts. I can't even.
