Season 4 is my favorite. Season 5 is decent. Season 6 (the current one) is where the show goes off the rails.Still need to finish Cobra Kai : P
I'm on season 4
If there's no tie in to Cobra Kai and this is a stand alone movie it's going to completely bomb.
Original Karate Kid was in an era where bullying was a norm. You do the same shit from the original movie and you're expelled going to a charter school in weekly therapy sessions for not using your words.
In an era when young people are more cynical and have far more media options this is trying to appeal to folks from the 1980's

Karate is gay. MMA exposed it.
So is that Daniel's bastard son or something?
I always thought the point of Karate kid was the whole clash of cultures deal which feels kind of defeated her with making the kid Asian.
All though is name is Wang. Lol. Should have got Marc Dong to play the bad guy so it's Wang vs Dong
jujitsu or muay thai has been proven more useful in UFC/MMA fights.I'm honestly curious how MMA exposed Karate?

I'm a Robbie fanboy, and season 4 was the most badass version of him. Robbie > MiguelI just finished season 4 and agree it's the best season so far. Though the twists I saw a mile away lol
