I'm clearly in the minority because I don't understand anything legit being said here.
MS's recent acquisition make them the single biggest hub of gaming going forward, Sony has their exclusives and MS literally got the rest of the bag.
If MS wants to kill Sony or Nintendo....they can. Do not mistake their generosity for weakness.
MS + PC is better than any console scenario and that's really what both MS and Sony know, it's really not about being "third party"
You're really enormously overestimating how much power Xbox have here.
They've spent the GDP of a small country in the past few years and have absolutely diddly squat to show for it. They've thrown as much shit at the wall as possible this past decade and absolutely nothing has stuck.
Their hardware sales are going down year after year. They're making bigger losses even as they're increasing revenue. Gamepass has been a wet fart, all the AAA games they bought flopped and they've managed to mismanage their biggest IP's into irrelevancy.
The amount of pull they have in the industry is next to nil. It's something even they argued to be allowed to buy ABK.
They physically cannot do shit to Nintendo, who they tried to buy, and were completely laughed out of the room by Team Red, while the only hope they have of killing PlayStation at this point is for Team Blue to continue copying their retarded moves.
And Palworld?
Really? That's going to bring down Nintendo? I mean I'm impressed by the game's sales and glad to see Game Freak get embarrassed, but right now it's a flavour of the month surprise hit, while Pokémon is 30 years and a multimedia empire on from that, with even bigger sales despite putting zero effort in, and that's just one of Nintendo's many, MANY massive sellers.
I mean come the fuck on mate. MS might have deep pockets, but money cannot buy you success, let alone alone buy your competitors failure.
