I've been collecting JP movies, shows and books since I was younger. I've replaced old DVDs by BDs and 4K UHDs overtime when they were released. Not fond of tacky stuff so I put it all into a Weeb locker. Most books are in French except Ys and Zelda. What's your stuff? I know many of you have huge collections.

I don't have that many rare things compared to my gaming lockers but I have the entire Ghibli Collection on Blu-ray, Lady Oscar and Sherlock Hound Blu-ray special books. I have the entire original colour run of the Akira comic books as well as Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball /Super and Evangelion.

I got a dvd collection of some older series but nothing large like this. Would like to expand at some point.
 
I have one anime box set – Ergo proxy. I've had it for over ten years. It was a birthday present from my sister. Watched one episode.
No other weeb stuff apart from that.

My "Fantastic Children"-collection, consisting of DVD-box, soundtrack, GBA-game and manga. The best anime in existence, the best adventure you'll ever experience. If you get past the "childish" artstyle that is completely deceiving.

The only manga I still keep around, sold everything else. Dragon Ball was my first manga I bought and it's somewhat melancholic to know that this story wouldn't be able to exist in today's outrage culture. It won't be long before this gets censored, too, so I'll keep this original version around.

Oh and I forgot I have a collection of Japanese B5 movie 'posters'. There double sided 7"x10" info cards that are found in Japanese movie theater lobbies to advertise new films. I have them for both Japanese films and US films.

One of my favorite is the Life Aquatic

Sort of a different animal collecting than when I was a kid and getting a bootleg VHS tape of anime was solid gold to a kid, now everything is openly available.

I've always been an anime nut all the way to original Dragon Ball but not much of a collector other than some One Piece stuff

I do plan at some point getting the entire One Piece manga in digital form but physical media I try to avoid

While I generally concur, there are a few exceptions, imo.
Cowboy Bebop, Space Dandy, and the original Dragonball was fun too.

But you can chase me around the block with most of the rest of japanimation bullshit.

This is probably my favorite part about our community in the sense where if you don't like something you can still freely motherfuck it all the same and god bless @WesternBlood for making me laugh

But........I like a good challenge.....SO!!!! @WesternBlood I say to you....Anime is nothing more than fucking CARTOONS, you either don't like cartoons or you don't, but I bet I/WE could find an anime you would actually like assuming you can enjoy watching cartoons as an adult

Is there a chance?

I like Akira and Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo was quirky but not too bad. Miyazaki's output is good, I've seen countless Animes like Jin Roh, Ninja Scroll, Ghost in the Shell and Robotech...etc so on and so forth. Grew up watching Speed Racer and Battle of the Planets (Gachaman) when it was rerun in syndication in my city.

Some anime is better than others due to how balls to the wall detailed the hand drawn stuff is like Redline and some of the stuff is weeabo garbage.

Japans autism for this medium is a blessing and a curse. No matter how much I like an individual movie/series from this country, they never can be normal for just once.

I like to shitpost about it because there are grown adults who Naruto run as a personality.

I hate you so much lol. You're the arc-typical "I only know a tiny fraction of old-ass anime that I hold up as a shining beacon and shit on everything else, even though I have no idea about what else is out there".

Bebop and Ninja Scroll are shit. Like, really bad.
