Will the Nintendo Switch 2 have a new Star Fox game?

Do you anticipate that the Star Fox IP returns on the NS2 with a new game? Or will it be neglected just as it had been during the Nintendo Switch's time?

What is your guess?

Once they run out of new games again they'll do Star Fox Zero Deluxe with mouse controls

We saw how great that one Star Wars game could be (and is) with Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II for the Nintendo GameCube. Nintendo should take inspiration from that game and add more layers to it to bring Star Fox to the next level

It does seem like Star Fox is on hold for the ultimate rainy day though. It's like in the same situation as F-Zero lol. They don't care about Star Fox all that much. Maybe the furries ruined it for everyone

Id love something like Starfox Adventures or Assault honestly. Those games fucking ruled

Mouse controls make me say yes. One hand controls the ship, the other controls the aiming

Nintendo low-key has the best rail shooters out there. It would be a shame to pass on Starfox, Kid Icarus, or Sin & Punishment with the control options at their disposal.
Just been Pokémon Snap for Switch :/

I don't think Nintendo even remembers that Starfox exists. Ubisoft had to remind them almost 7 years ago with Starlink.

Nintendo doesn't want to do a Star Fox game because they would have to go all out and make it a high-tech showpiece game. That's the entire reason for the existence of Star Fox games, and Nintendo is too lazy for that sort of thing these days.

What is actually holding back Nintendo from making another Star Fox game? Is it because their characters will inevitably vandalized by furries? The sales aren't there? Or is it because there is a lack of quality villains, and they would need to build around something entirely new? Maybe there's just a lot of conceptualizations needing to take place and even getting the project started correctly or on the right foot would be difficult, like it could be prone to having to be scrapped? I don't know what the deal is, but I bet a lot of fans would be interested in another Star Fox game

They've been putting out decent games every season for the last eight years man. I think what it comes down to is that they're focusing all resources on the big IPs and expanding everything they can at the same time. I'm sure Star Fox will have its day again, but maybe not for a while... I can see F-Zero and Star Fox both having an incredible game in the next 10-15 years but I'm sure Nintendo wouldn't settle for anything less than a mega seller at this point for either franchise. After being put on the shelf for so long, it's kind of all or nothing when the time comes to deliver. I know they wont be out permanently, but it's probably going to be a while is my guess

I just think they haven't come up with anything good for Star Fox yet. I never played the Wii U game, but it wasn't great? Of course the big IP's like Mario and Zelda are going to get more attention but I'm sure we will get another Star Fox game
