My name for a while was nemesis based on the monologue from Snatch, but nemesis was often taken on various platforms, so then when I signed up for Xbox live back on the og Xbox it asked me to add a prefix, epic nemesis went well together so I chose that.

Vyse is the protagonist from my favorite game, Skies of Arcadia Legends, and my first username before changing it twice (Grand Theft Scratchy, Wei Shen). I always thought Vyse was the coolest protagonist in a JRPG and it does make me think of simpler times. I like many kinds of games but Japanese-developed games have always been a little more interesting to me, like getting lost in an engrossing book or show for hours. Plus, I like air pirates and space pirates, and moments like traveling to the moon in Final Fantasy IV were really cool. In fact, Skies of Arcadia has six moons but many floating continents and islands with different cultures and exciting moments.

The avatar is from new artwork created for the vinyl edition of the soundtrack. I like it especially because you get a good look at one of the two cutlasses Vyse uses in the game, the one he holds in his right hand to attack. He uses a second cutlass in his left hand to guard. I love the colors too as it reminds me of a new dawn or age of adventure. "The Bounty King" is also a swashbuckler rating that I got back in the day for completing the Wanted List, eight optional boss battles added to the GameCube port. I can only hope SEGA add a larger Wanted List if they were to make a sequel but I think it's just always going to be a cult-classic.

Not much to tell, to be honest got the name out of the character creator in NeverWinter Nights back in 2002, liked it enough that I used it again for my character in FFXI some time later and it kinda stuck around after that. As for the avatar, I just was just big into the Fate/Stay Night VN at the time and I really liked Gilgamesh so it felt fitting to use him as my avatar. I've thought about changing the latter to something more relevant but it just feels weird changing my profile picture after so long.
