This thread is as straight forward as can be: What did you eat today? Tell us and ideally post a photo of your breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner or extra meal! And if there's a little story involved with that specific meal, tell us!

On my way to make lunch; be prepared for a photo of some nice trouts and potatoes!

Poll doesn't match the thread 🤔

I had a quiche Lorraine and a ham and cheese (gruyere) croissant. So, French I guess.

I was just about to post some pics, @Stilton Disco.

The simplicity of Italian food, lots of cheese, bread and veg, with the rich, spicy, meaty dishes found in Indian food. It is an excellent combination.

This is my favourite - Chashashuli. Hot curry-esque dish with local spices and tender beef. Mouth-wateringly good with some Khachapuri dipped into it (the cheese / bread / egg thing).

i've been pretty regimented, keto stuff as late:

scrambled eggs
bacon
sausage
chicken breast
potato bread
broccoli / spinach / kale
walnuts
steak
dark chocolate almonds
blueberries
pancakes

it's not uncommon for me to eat one meal / day, some large combination of these foods with shakes or bars for grams if i'm redlining after cardio or weights

Breakfast this morning was two boiled eggs, a coffee and then a handful of cherry tomatoes, some blue berries and some strawberries.

Lunch was boiled potatos grown by my wifes dad.

Dinner will be soup for the kids which I might have or my wife has offered to make me vegetables and pork.

I think Korean cuisine is pretty awesome. Even though I'm not from anywhere near there, I find the food to be tasty and yet easily digestible. It is almost as if my stomach is Korean after trying various dishes and meals.

When I still ate meat, I only used to like my steaks well done. Yes, I know that's not the "proper" way.
I tried medium rare on multiple occasions, and at top restaurants around the world. Never liked it. Always tasted too much blood in it.

Unfortunately, a lot of chefs don't know how to cook a steak well done properly. In my opinion there's a fine line between perfectly charred throughout and overcooked. Most chefs overcook it.

Pink has nothing to do with blood. The blood is drained during the aging process. The pink is cooked myoglobin, a protein.
