India plays Pakistan today, in the biggest Cricket stadium in the world, 120k Ppl.

This is gonna be a nail-biter or a dud, nothing in-between.

I can't even imagine the atmosphere. Biggest crowd I've been in was like 30k for Cowboys vs Broncos.

Yep......saw some videos of English flags, Paki flags, Bangladeshi tigers etc being torn up ..........Cricket is a gentleman's game. Indians are some of the worst fans and organizers in the sport.

Glenn Maxwell has suffered a second freak injury in less than 12 months after it was revealed a golf cart mishap will rule him out of Australia's World Cup match against England.

Maxwell was riding on the back of a golf cart in the dark after a round on Monday when he fell off, suffering a concussion and significant bruising.

Getting hurt while riding on the back of a golf cart at night is a "freak injury".

I don't know if those flag burning happened, because never heard of it in the media.

But Indian cricket fans are as passionate as any one out there.

ODI is a dying format, India has moved to T20s, and there is at least 3x viewership for IPL than any international matches.
And still, fact of the matter is, there would be large number watching England playing Oz in Ashes than a random ODI being played by India.

India has also moved on from watching matches from stadiums, absolutely free telecast on OTT apps for mobile has ensured that. 30m people watched Maxwell's heroics on digital, how many the biggest ground in the world could fill in? Barely 120k.

Now BCCI is greedy organisation, they think of Cricket much as business and politics than sports. But doing matches in big country as India has its own challenges. If any board has to do even 10% of what BCCI need to do to have matches hosted , they would be asking for Six-Sigma certificate for efficiency.
