No quarrel with the format of the show. A barrage of content with minimal downtime. Yes, some awkward devs on stage and Dorito Pope doing what Dorito Pope does.
I just found the content mostly uninspiring - or at least the way the trailers were put together to be uninspiring.
We had a generation where everything was brown. This generation its all about feelings and playing as an autistic loser in one of a multitude of Wes Anderson's rejected ideas. Which is fine. I'll vote with my wallet as always.
I've not scored it on a spreadsheet or anything, but the DEI factor in most of the content is very telling. And that includes the on-stage activity too.
Still, I'm sure the rise of DEI and the tsunami of industry layoffs is entirely coincidental timing. Pandering to people that are not going to buy your product always works!
