During the events of The Cosmic Shake, Patrick manages to find himself turned into balloon form, thus becoming Balloon-Patrick throughout the duration of the game. While not the brightest sidekick to ever save the world, his enthusiastic company and zany ideas will have to do as he and SpongeBob make their way through the many portals into Wishworlds to save their friends and salvage the universe from the consequences of using Mermaid's Tears.

Madame Kassandra

The mysterious clairvoyant mermaid, Madame Kassandra. Early into the game, Kassandra offers SpongeBob and Patrick otherworldly objects at bargain prices. She ends up selling them a vial of Mermaid's Tears, a very powerful reality-altering item, its true powers unbeknownst to our game's fun-loving protagonists at the time of its purchase.

Friends from Bikini Bottom

Meet characters such as Sandy Cheeks, Mr. Krabs, Pearl, Squidward, The Flying Dutchman, and even King Neptune himself across the Wishworlds to be found in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake.

Game looks very charming. Reviews are mixed, current gen reviews are better than for last gen. Read about 5h of content and it being "uninspired", with pretty by the numbers gameplay. Not a bad thing for me tbh. PS5 has the highest metacritic.

I’m waiting for a price drop too. I love SpongeBob so it’s a no-brainer, the games typically do one thing right every time and it’s the charm they bring. This one’s a spiritual successor as they call them now, to SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom

The gamescom demo was a huge surprise to me, very tight gameplay. I have no funds for it right now, but I will play it later on. If you like 3d platformers and Spongebob, I am pretty sure this will be a very good pick.
