Saw it in IMAX. Very enjoyable movie. Sure, had goofy aspects and might have felt a little long but still worthwhile.

Was surprised to find myself enjoying Andrew Garfield and his little redemption arc.

Yeah, it was great. I also liked the save by Tobey stopping Green Goblin from being stabbed. The whole fight is amazing.

The only part of No Way Home that I didn't like was the bear hug between Tobey and Andrew was kind of gay. But most of the funny moments were good, like when Ned confused a pilates board for a torture rack made me laugh.

Andrew Garfield for me was the best Spider-Man on film. His take on Peter Parker was closest to that of the one in the comics (Tobey was too passive and Tom Holland is a little too goofy.). It's a shame that Sony screwed him over with The Amazing Spider-Man 2. It's nice to see his Peter Parker get some redemption.

Doctor Strange prepared the spell but Peter wanted to cure the villains before sending them back. It is kind of weird that Sandman chose to escape as well after Green Goblin convinced them to keep their powers, considering Sandman was just talking to Electro about letting his device do its thing, but it did lead to an epic final battle where they were all cured before being sent home.
Because he didn't trust the new Parker, he shoved him in a fucking cage and was literally whipping up shit in an apartment. He basically lost any faith Sandman had for him once everyone escaped.

@Stouffers Strange wanted the threat contained until he could come up with solution, the longer they ran around unrestrained the more dangerous they were. As for the portal thing, Ned and MJ were scared but did it successfully twice but didn't want to risk a third, what if something else came out that wasn't a good Peter? MJ figured out where he'd be so going there was safer than risking another portal.

Incredible movie, so ambitious but successful in everything it did. Really was a 10/10 film.

Sony is calling the opening weekend for Spider-Man: No Way Home at $253M, which is where we first saw it last night. Again, that's the best December domestic opening, best ever for Sony, 3rd best ever among all films beating 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens domestic opening of $247.9M.

Worldwide Spider-Man: No Way Home owns the 3rd best global debut with $587.2M after Avengers: Endgame ($1.22 billion) and Avengers: Infinity War ($640.5M) and that's without China. Here in the states, box office analytics firm EntTelligence reports that 20M people watched Spider-Man: No Way Home this weekend.

No Way Home's Saturday is at $73.8M, which is in the range of where we spotted it last night; that's also the third best Saturday ever stateside. Sunday is looking at $57.350 million on Sunday from 4,336 locations. The sequel is $4.7M from overtaking Avengers: Infinity War's $257.698M opening as the second best domestic opening of all-time.

Will see the movie tomorrow.

Just got back from the theater. I really enjoyed this one. Was as good as 2017 Homecoming and better than 2019's Far From Home. The dialogue between the Peters was immensely entertaining. Makes me almost wish I had seen either of the Amazing films...almost. Overall: Recommended.

Sony has just made it official: their latest Marvel movie Spider-Man: No Way Home is the second highest opening ever at the domestic box office with $260M, beating Disney/Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War's $257.698M. Sony updated their international B.O., which takes the Tom Holland-Zendaya-Benedict Cumberbatch and greater ensemble to $340.8M abroad, yielding a $600.8M global debut, still the third highest ever behind Avengers: End Game ($1.22 billion) and Avengers: Infinity War ($640.5M).

Sunday came in at the high end of what we were spotting with $64.175M, which is the third best Sunday of all-time after Avengers: End Game ($90.3M) and Avengers: Infinity War ($69.2M), and ahead of Star Wars: Force Awakens ($60.55M) and Disney/Marvel's Black Panther ($60M). Revised Friday and Saturday grosses from the studio are respectively $121.925M and $73.9M.

just got home from watching it. theater is packed for a Tuesday 2:30pm showing and when I get my ticket at 2:20pm or so, there was only 3 or 4 seats left, which kinda tells you how hot the movie is. best film out of the MCU in the current phase for me, and possibly over all too. the fact they fully embrace some of the memes of the other 2 series is wonderful and the whole progression of the movie and the character is just a joy to watch. even knowing a few of the spoilers did not diminish the movie for me.

I finally saw this tonight after having avoided all spoilers somehow going in.

Holy buggery was that amazing! 10/10, easily my favourite marvel and spiderman movie, and if this ends up being the last non shite MCU film, then it went out on a high.

Just absolutely amazing, and I loved every second of it.

Shame Venom only had a cameo, but at least he's safer from the Disney cultists this way, and they set up the Black Suit Spidey and an MCU venom at least.

I couldn't have said it any better. It was a great movie and my favorite cape movie.

I saw it Friday. I genuinely do not understand Marvel films or their mass appeal. I could get them as popcorn flicks but any acclaim beyond that is completely indecipherable to me.

I thought it was really entertaining, especially if you are a fan of Spider-Man. I'm not even a huge fan of the MCU - I thought the last big, worthwhile event was Infinity War, but No Way Home was a great bookend to that phase of Marvel movies. I know @Dacon said one of his complaints for the first two movies was that Peter didn't really feel like Spider-Man, but by the end of No Way Home I felt like he did.

$1.8 billion at the international box office now. Currently the sixth highest grossing film, behind Avengers: Infinity War and Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($2 billion).
