This is my port of the Sonic Mania decompilation for the Dreamcast, running on real hardware at 60 FPS (most of the time) with work-in-progress hardware-accelerated rendering. I work on this in my free time so development can be pretty slow, but it's getting there! You can follow my progress on Twitter/Mastodon, and sometimes I even stream development on Twitch. Links to those, as well as source code, are available at the end of my rambling.

Blue screens indicate that a new scene is being loaded. It's loading off of a TerraOnion MODE with some random flash drive I found laying around, so loading times are simultaneously way faster than a disc and not at all optimal.

There is currently zero audio playback whatsoever because memory is so tight. Might need to even use some kind of sequencing to make ends meet there.

There are some recent regressions with draw order (fire looks funny), but those can be fixed. Spikes don't render until you die once for some reason. Just pretend that doesn't happen.

Color reproduction and aspect ratio look wrong because of a combination of my capture card and my unconfigured video editing software.
