ROH is All Elite.

Tony Khan bought Ring of Honor.

TBH AEW was already ROH. They would maybe be better off just turning into ROH which has 20 years of history.

AEW has a pretty cool feeder league now. People not getting used in AEW can wrestle in ROH.

From Fightful:

We've gotten people who are asking if Cody is leading an ROH invasion into AEW and all the Cody speculation - this is something people are cooking up on their own. Now, I will say this: the person who said, "Tony is buying it!" they gave me some info that was pretty accurate but they believe that Cody will eventually lead that as well. I mean it makes a lot of sense. It seems like...I mean you wanna follow in the footsteps of Dusty?

I feel like MJF has already extended his contract. I can toally see a summer of MJF in 2024 where he finally wins the title and "takes" it to the WWE LOL...

If anything WWE is probably backing up the money truck for WARDLOW, thats the guy they probably have their eyes on.

HA! I called the Cody Rhodes WWE thing being a work!

Kinda...maybe...not really.

But I still think it makes no sense for all parties involved.

Makes less sense than Cody leading ROH and being an exec there...

I don't know why would Cody leave his baby to "run" ROH and wrestle at the developmental territory.

But stranger things have happened. It was already super odd that he left AEW to go back to WWE, and it would be even stranger if he left AEW in a "work" to run ROH.

Only thing I see is if ROH becomes the Nightmear Factory and Cody wants to hang up the boots and was given a stake in ROH.

The timing of everything really does feel sus but it's likely all coincidence.

I like Cody but I just think he's ever going to reach higher

Story wise I don't see it there?

He comes back to feud with evil Tony Khan? Or Cody turns heel and invades good guy Tony Khan ? Like whats the angle here?

Cody didn't want to turn heel and wasn't getting the contract he wanted so he left to go run Tony Khans ROH?

I just can't see what angle they are building with Cody going to ROH. Unless they pull the old, the name on the contract reads RHODES, not KHAN!

I could see Cody being the leader of an NXT style team from RoH but that seems a bit forced.

It just all seems to coincidental to me in the wrestling world that he leaves, RoH gets bought out, WWE suddenly cools on the come back right after it's announced?

Like what possibly could have happened where they cooled on Cody?

Sean does a nice little intro to this before it starts. I understand why KC stopped making stuff with podcasts taking over, but it would be nice if we got a few new shows eventually.

And just like that there are reports WWE is working on Cody storylines.

More like the dirt sheets are getting their wires crossed.

But nothing is final until its final I guess.

Cody going back to WWE makes as much sense as Cody going to ROH. The only thing that made sense was Cody staying in AEW as an EVP while his wife keeps her cushy job and they produce reality TV and he hosts more TV shows. Why he would leave that to work the audience to wrestler in a developmental territory in front of a few hundred fans instead of the hottest wrestling show in the world god know. Or why he would go to corporate WWE where he can be fired on a whim and everyone is unahappy again who the F knows.

So I think anythign is possible. I just don't see a storyline for Cody going to ROH. Tony is not Vince, he isn't the evil boss. Tony is the good guy everyone loves. So what is the big work. Cody is standing up to evil greedy Tony by stealing ROH from him and now he will make it better than AEW? Yup AEW fans are gonna love that LOL. Maybe ROH fans will love it I guess since AEW did kind of kill ROH....
