I can't stop laughing at this. ROFL

Or the Nubians ruled North African near the height of the Persian Empire.

Let's assume this were true for just a moment. Would you also then say that Egypt and the surrounding area was mostly ethnic Greeks during the Ptolemaic Kingdom?

We don't need to assume.
It's a very easy concept. I'm not sure where the difficulty comes from. If a group of people invaded, conquered and ran a area does it not make sense that there would be some of that people in the area at that time?

So for your example no it would not be mainly Greeks but the ruling positions would mainly be held by Greeks and some Greeks would be moved there. Soldiers would be stationed there and so on. You in essence went from no Greeks to a shit ton of Greeks.

There is also the fact that Egypt and Ethiopia has a 7000 year history of trade. Ethiopia I don't think has ever had non Ethiopian rulers in it's history.

*some* sure, but are we still talking about the PRINCE of Persia?

This is all fascinating shit that had nothing to do with ESG beholden megapublishers in 2023 cranking out the hot turd in the OP.

Well white it says "the Prince has been kidnapped" it shows a light skin brown guy getting kidnapped. I'm assuming that's the Prince.

This game looks pretty fun to me. I was simply pointing out some criticisms are not based in reality.

Oh so this is a Switch game, that will release on the other consoles as well. Makes sense given the visuals.

They said it in the Digital Foundry video for the live stream.

It has surprised me, but a metroidvania-esque POP game might actually be good, if the platforming and combat are engaging enough I may pick this up when it goes on sale.

I was pretty much gonna pick this up but was a tad skeptical but the reviews have sold me. Day 1!

Ubisoft hater John Linneman loves it

60 fps on Switch. 120 fps on PS5/XSS. Perfectly optimized on PC.

It better run perfectly. The game looks like a mobile game, not exactly too hot. The last Ori game (Ori and the Will of the Wisps) looks so, so much better and released years ago. This game looks very simple, of course it performs well. Would be shocked if it had performance issues.

Glad to hear that it's really good gameplay though, seems like the nailed the game design, which is the most important thing.

Ori had great art direction true. Would probably look the same if they went with polygonal graphics.

Was basically going to say the same. The plight every 2.5D game with clean polygonal graphics seems to be "the game looks like mobile game." Is that simply because 2.5D done in clean graphics ultimately comes up short next to our imaginations and pixel 2D? I genuinely think so.
