Looks like any other indie metroidvania. Or a Switch game. I don't get the hate

I am very sure this will play fantastically.

I am just sour about the art style. They had some of the greatest drawing artists over there.
And now we get something as generic looking like this.

This. Gameplay seems cool but it still looks like a freaking mobile game, don't like the visuals and the art style at all. Might still play it down the road for cheap.

i played the original game waaaaay back on a spectrum pc.........its nice to see some callbacks but the demo did feel like a glorified mobile game

Really enjoying this so far. Got the deluxe on a whim to play early as I have a few days off.

Wish some of the bigger studios would do more stuff like this. Every game doesn't need to be cinematic action open world.

Played to demo for less than 10 minutes. Games seemed great but I rarely play 2d side scrollers. Ori are the only recent ones that sucked me in. Honestly it's more their environments than anything.

The game looks really good. I'd grab it day one to play on Steamdeck if it was on Steam. I will probably grab the Switch version in a month or two. Ubisoft titles always drop in price after a few weeks.

About half way now. Its not a home run but a very solid game. Its a bit safe but the mechanics and such that are in here are very polished. Runs fantastic on PC and Series X
