Pretty sure it's like the other NSO controllers and has to be ordered direct from Nintendo. If you get accepted into their preorder lottery thing you can preorder one when that goes live, otherwise it'll probably be available on their online shop on the 5th.

I'm guessing.

Yeah they touted the initial supply to be MUCH higher than the original Switch. In terms of accessories, backwards compatibility with Switch controllers cushions the blow potentially for many people.

Watching the Jake Randall stream and have multiple tabs open. I'm going for the DK Bundle at Best Buy, which is a little more expensive so I'm hoping that increases my odds.

I think the Best Buy "bundles" just lump together items and aren't really unique SKUs so to speak. You are probably competing with all the same people trying to order the $499.99 version. As a backup I have Best Buy's base system plus physical MK 'bundle' tab open ($529.98). If I can't immediately get the $499.99 SKU, I'll probably fall back to that one. Word is that there's roughly a 70/30 split between MK and base SKUs available. I'm thinking the actual demand is going to be more like 90/10. So probably better odds of securing the cheaper SKU if I had to guess.

Lol yeah I noticed Best Buy website is acting kind of wonky right now. Was trying to go in and double check my payment and shipping settings and it doesn't want to load. I can see other pages on the site and I seem to be logged in. Hopefully not indicative of any issue..

I was doing the same about 20 minutes ago and getting the same failures. I knew then and there that this is bound to become a shit fest.

Wouldn't be surprised if hardly anybody is able to get one RIGHT at midnight. Everybody refreshing constantly is just going to be too much and I bet precious few will actually make it through right away. This is gonna be a shit show.

Most of the people who get one will be around 12:15 once the intial rush leaves and people think they didn't get one. Stay on and most go them will be available around 12:15
