Can't wait! But here we go with the BF cycle.

My prediction mass bitching, why isn't it like BF (insert random number here). etc...

Will this be the game that finally pushes me to get a next gen system? WE will see.

Battlefield 6 set in the near future where an elite special forces unit made up of WAMANZ, Non Binaries, Trans, and Gays are fighting the US civil war against the fascist forces of Ronald Dump who has declared himself god emperor after the 1/6 capitol Erection.

The rebels have teamed up with the CCP to create a future fighting force that is diverse and inclusive and that says Black Lives Matter and Stop Asian Hate. The evil US Fascist Forces of Orangemdom are trying to turn the US into a WHite Supreme Fascist country and after their erection on Jan 6th that was like 9/11 x 100, the AOC forces were formed in memory of AOC who died fighting off 1000 Fascist Ronald Dump supporters.

I can't get into Battlefield after playing Planetside 2 and Heroes and Generals. Both of those games are mechanically superior and are a great fun to play. Also they are f2p. I recently tried BF1 and 4 and they just feel meh.

All though 5 maps seems like a lot, more like 3 maps, with 1 DLC map released 12 months later, and a 2nd 24 months later.

But don't worry DICE will show us their road map for all the FREE content that will never come and end up getting cut. Can't wait to get hyped for a war theater I am never going to play because DICE decides to drop it.

My experience with competitive gaming:

I start the match, try to shoot a few people, then get distracted looking at a model/animation and someone shoots me in the head. The end of Kuranghi's multiplayer foray.

"Holy shit that smoke effect is ace!" *blammo*

I could just never get into the general concept, I used to play UT99 and Quake 3 with bots and have fun but that was more like aiming practice since they weren't tough opponents even on whatever the difficulty below Godlike was in UT99. I enjoy splitscreen/LAN MP where the people are with you in the room to an extent, but people always seem to get upset when competing and that just doesn't appeal to me.

Can't wait to see what next gen can bring to the franchise. They have a great looking engine.

Also available on Xbox One and PS4.

Welp my balls just dropped.

This game really gonna tempt me to get a Series S isn't it.

Man if only I could get it on a streaming service or something.

Welp hoping PS4 version isn't gimped to hell and buggy like a south of the border whore house.
 
Visually that was super impressive. Huge environments with incredible detail. Wonder what specs one needs to deliver that quality.

But let's be real, they could have said this was a GI Joe licensed game and I would have believed them. Probably liked it more too. So many dumb/cringe action scenes. Jumping out of an f35 to shoot a manpad.... to land back in the f35? Yea.... that's just dumb. Hopefully all those over the top bits are contained to the trailer and don't infest them game.

The jumping out of the jet was a fan nod because people did that in BF3 and 4. I doubt it's a highlighted feature outside of some fan service.
 
Thought that was a really stupid trailer. No gameplay, no nothing. Just have some studio make a cgi video and make it look like what they think the game will look like.

You know none of the characters are going to have that level of animation detail during the gameplay.

All they needed to show was some gameplay, was none of that.

Just watch a music video with some guys playing tag and running around in scenarios you will never be in, in game.

Im fine with it just on the fact it shows the time period and some of the gameplay features such as the wing suit and weather etc. I don't mind a trailer like this to set the mood but I will obviously still judge it mostly on the gameplay trailer.

compare this to the BFV trailer that tried to really sell it as a gameplay trailer while pushing all sorts of crap looking characters. This was loads better than that one.
