Wow the All-Star Weekend entertainment value is next to nothing these days. I just can't believe how pathetic the energy is out there. Production quality is non-existent, half time show is flat and cringe, Adam Silver keeps switching the format up every single year... What is going on here

Wish it was just East vs West again, those games went nearly into the 200 pts territory sometimes. Now there's three games up to 40 pts? Ngl this is gay as fuck. The All-Star Weekend has been pretty bad the past 10-15 years but this is just a waste of time

Adam Silver is the worst commissioner in major sports. Which is impressive when you consider Major League Baseball.

Yea....I'm with ya......these cats make too much money that expecting them to care about a weekend where they play for free is so outside of their mindset not because of them as people but because of marketing/agents. Everybody afraid to hurt their brand and step on somebody's toes.

The very last All Star game that mattered to me was when Kobe tried to go hot right at MJ in his last game. Aint no cats left in the game like Kobe that wants to go for the kings head in front of everybody.

Hahahaha I'm gonna miss these guys. They've been a highlight of this league for a long time. They were better than a lot of the games they covered over the years. I wish the NBA didn't have such sissies playing the game now. Players who invested more time practicing how to flop and crying in-game than standing on two feet and actually playing the game. The league needs to hire some no-nonsense refs and let them keep the game's physicality and rhythm going. Players are too pampered these days. They've even started dressing like females 2010 forward

We got guys like Trae Young talking big and saying he'd probably be the GOAT if he were 6'8 and all this mess. Yeah well what about if John Stockton if he were 6'8 bro? That guy was tougher than most forwards this game has seen... got NBA Players who literally do not care at all during the All-Star Weekend festivities and that's all supposed to be a nod to and a thank you to the fans. Bro, if you guys wanna act like this be my guest just don't cry when nobody gives a damn about your sissy era of ball and all that weak basketball you played all those years in front of the fans. Not now and not later. I remember when players used to locked in almost every single game it seemed and left it all on the floor in REGULAR SEASON games. Playoffs used to be legendary runs towards the championship because players used to be willing to ive next to everything and damn near die on the floor. I'll never forget Matthew Dellavedova's desire to win in the 2015 NBA Finals. We need more players with that kind of grit and passion for the game, that mentality. Game is filled with a bunch of pansies these days that have zero desire to win. They're just along for the ride. Talent pool is insane in today's game but what's it all mean if players aren't willing to get their hands dirty

It's funny how long to think these guys have been doing this talk show but they bring good basketball talk and good entertainment talk simultaneously.

The single and biggest thing that a lotta cats can't do is laugh at themselves. Shaq and Chuck are firmly confident in their own skin they can be totally authentic and not afraid to be a goofball.

It would have been it for them either way. If Kyrie is out, they have zero chance of doing anything. And again, Luka's defense is sorry, so what does it matter if he gets to the playoffs and isn't tough enough to stop the best players who will surely be making big plays over him time and again? As a Lakers fan, I don't believe in Luka just yet. He's going to have to prove his mettle. He's gotten to the NBA Finals with Kyrie. Now he has the better teammate in LeBron. If he can get to the NBA Finals again this year, I will be impressed, but I don't expect it. Much less do I expect him to win if he got there this year, although he might have a better chance considering he knows what to expect and can rely on LeBron a bit more than Kyrie

This is going to be very interesting to see. More so next year because Luka will be working in the off season with LeBron plenty I imagine. I seriously doubt Luka will be enough to help the Lakers win a ring this season even if the team is fortunate enough to stay moderately healthy for the playoffs. Can't see LAL defeating the OKC Thunder in a series tbh

It would've been it for them this year, sure. Now, instead of having Luka for the foreseeable future and being automatically relevant, they're going to be a bottom feeder moving forward. This trade is going to go down as the worst in modern NBA history. One of the worst in sports history alongside trades like the Hershel Walker deal and the Babe Ruth trade.

I watched this live........came home from fishing right at the 4th quarter when the Bulls went insane like 9-13 or something on 3's .....i just sat there watching every fucking shot going in like......'there's NO way'.......

Then with a mere seconds left Austin dashes in and seals the game......or so I thought......hats off to that MF'er

Max has a great documentary on the Celtics done by Bill Simmons. If you love NBA history you will love it.

Some of the best Bill Russell/Wilt Footage I've ever seen which is so great to me as a life long NBA fan.

Fuck the Celtics but this is just like the Jordan Doc...if you like NBA history it's the tits

Apparently Malone and the GM were creating a terrible environment to work in. I've heard of coaches and GMs having their differences and going at one another but I'm not too sure why that happens. My guess would be that the coaches have to win no matter what and any bad decisions by the GM is just added burden to the coach; everything falls on the coach no matter what
