What keyboard is this?

What keyboard is this?

Glorious Gaming GMMK Pro. I always wanted one but it was £300 assembled (you can buy a kit and build it yourself). Recently it received a 50 percent price cut so I jumped on it. I assume the cut is a result of a new product on the horizon.

I still use my Wooting for gaming but I've always just loved the way this one looks. It's hot swappable, etc. Still doesn't sound as good as your Epomaker.

I'm way less budget constraint now with my new job.... What would be an upgrade to my Epomaker? Same form factor, preferably cool retro style, really thumpy sounding? Could also be a bit different from the form, feeling of the keys and sound are the most important things for me.

This is a great board for the price.

It sounds even better than yours. I sold one to @Thing on a Spring. He can confirm the quality and sound, I'm sure. Highly customisable, too.

Now, if you're more focused on performance, I'm not sure how much of an upgrade it would be.

Huh, that's not more expensive than my Epomaker. Thanks for the recommendation!

Out of curiosity, are there any noteworthy gains when going more expensive? Any premium ones that are top tier?

Plenty of top tier ones. It really depends on what you're after. Boards can get VERY expensive.

The gains I would say are more geared towards the gaming side of things. That's when you get into hall effect switches, features like rapid trigger, etc. You will notice those. They won't improve your typing experience or the sound, though. It's kind of a trade off.

Yeah I'm not about that gaming use case, don't care much. It's all about the feeling and sound when typing. The F75 sounds awesome, judging by the video. Will buy as soon as I'm back from vacation.

I could never live without my number pad on the right, cool looking keyboards but missing basic functions for me. As an old school cashier I can input numbers the same way I can type words and not look with high efficiency

He has the one I bought. I sold it to him.

It's hot swappable, anyway, so if you don't like your switches you can buy a set and install them. It's easy.

Alright so that keyboard isn't available anywhere. Went to the Epomaker site, you can only preorder them. Bought the black version with the crescent switches because they're the ones from the video you posted and I loved the sound.

Only 72€, which is less than my current Epomaker... And I bought a set of new switches for that as well. No shipping date yet. Sigh.

Nice. It's the same board, just a different colour. And it sounds soooo sweeet.

Alright so I "pre-ordered" it from the Epomaker site. Next day, I already got a shipping info, how it has been announced for shipment. Same day, it started the inner Chinese travel.

Weird process, no idea when it'll arrive.

I also got a glorious gmmk3 on sale and holy moly it really feels like a high quality keyboard.

Never really had a Glorious product before, but I really like this keyboard

Amazon UK still has them in stock. Weird you had to go directly to the manufacturer.

Didn't think of visiting the Amazon UK site, nothing showed up on Amazon Germany. But I did now, ordered the Ice Blue one with different switches because fuck it I'll use one for home and one for work. UK one will arrive on Jan 9.

WHY WOULD I GET THAT.
I only browse yt shorts lol. I mostly play on ps5 nowadays.
Anyway, scroll on my viper v2 pro broke, so obviously once I saw finalmouse is stocking today, I wanted to figure out what's up.
Managed to order one. Classic size. I never had finalmouse. probably overhyped piece of crap right?
All I know is that I've NEVER seen one being sold on their website or anywhere

What an absolutely amazing, thick, beautiful, very good sounding and great feeling keyboard. A total steal for that price, it's so good.

Sounds very "thocky", not a quiet keyboard, very satisfying. Compared to my previous Epomaker, it's in a completely different league.

Now waiting for the same one in black, with different switches. Also, for fun, I'll see how the Black Ink switches will sound in this one.

It has five layers of deafening foam, as opposed to the three your previous board has. It makes quite a difference.

I put additional foam and tape inside of my previous board, but it still doesn't come close. Super awesome keyboard. Only one thing is better with my old Epomaker: the knob for volume feels slightly more premium to me.

I tested a few keys yesterday and switched the switches to my Black Ink ones, which made it sound surprisingly quiet. A lot of thock gone, but smooth and quiet. I like the vanilla sound a lot though and will keep it.

Have there been any new developments in the world of mouse technology and design

They're all very good now and you have a ton of different shapes. Basically, every mouse above 60 bucks is really good now I'd say, just choose your shape, all kinds are available.

No major innovations outside of many mice being extremely low weight. Glorious had some modular stuff going on, which was new, but not groundbreaking.

Boring, I wanna see something new

Bought my first wireless mouse, the Lamzu Atlantis Mini 8k Champion Edition

Also, new mouse for work, the Endgame Gear OP1 8k.

Alright, so the Endgame Gear OP1 8k. Seriously impressed!

Build wise, the best mouse I've ever seen so far. It's light but super solid, nothing is even remotely moving or cracking, feels unbreakable. Great mechanical switches and clicks, great wheel, great cable, great coat. It's perfect.

Lamzu Atlantis Mini Champion Edition

Also very light an sturdy, slightly less so than the OP1 but still really good. It has optical switches which are quieter but feel less awesome but still very good. Balance is different, more towards the nose of the mouse. Overall really good mouse, I like the shape a bit more than the OP1. Build wise, it's great as well but not quite on the perfect level of the OP1.
