To me, no genre does epic more than metal. What are some metal songs that are so epic they get your imagination playing movies in your head? Songs that are just damn powerful pieces of music that stay with you? Here's a few that I love:

I may be stretching the meaning of epic a bit here, but 5:00 - 9:00 is some of the most powerful music I've ever heard. You feel like you're literally drowning
