Well! I did not see that coming.
Blizzard has been dead for a while. We should remember good blizzard not celebrate current blizzard.
I still pray this one happens:[ ]Starcraft Ghost
[ ]Starcraft 2 without excusing Kerrigan
[X] Starcraft Remaster
[ ]Overwatch TV/Movie/Cartoon Series
[ ]Overwatch RPG and Arkham Asylum's/City tier spin-offs
[ ]Warcraft IV continuing a mainline timeline divergent though incorporating some of better elements from WoW
[X]Diablo II: Resurrected
[ ]Diablo 1 Remake
[ ]Diablo IV as a single player focus game with offline mode instead of a GAAS service. IV with its worlds, settlements, IIs everything else and IIIs class switchup/free respec (I like experimenting)
Ultimatly Blizzard only ever made two of the games I would have recommanded over the years, both of them remasters/remakes. Wonder if they would have been in a far better position, game/franchise wise at least if they had. Also not ending the Warcraft Movie on a gigantic cliffhanger...
Potential Spinoffs if continued success:
Diablo Souls-Like
Diablo Zelda-like
Diablo Pillars of Eternity/Divinity Original Sin 2/Baldurs Gate 3 scale single player/co-op CRPG
Diablo Anno/Stronghold Citybuilder
Warcraft Diablo like ARPG
Warcraft Zelda-like
Warcraft Divinity Original Sin 2/Baldurs Gate 3 scale single player/co-op CRPG
Warcraft: Total War
Starcraft ARPG
Starcraft Spaceship game ala Homeworld/Sins of a Solar Empire/Battlefleet Gothic: Battlestar Galactica:
Deadlock
Starcraft: Total War
All three, Starcraft, Diablo and Warcraft I think have only seen a fraction of their potential, the problem is well, they are controlled by modern Blizzard and Microsoft.I still pray this one happens:
[ ]Warcraft IV continuing a mainline timeline divergent though incorporating some of better elements from WoW
Just throw Wow's storyline in the garbage and pick up right where Warcraft 3 left off.
These two should also happen:
Warcraft Divinity Original Sin 2/Baldurs Gate 3 scale single player/co-op CRPG
Why not Warcraft Souls action game?
They had an amazing universe going before World of Warcraft just started throwing lore out the window.
If anyone would say they did they would be lying.
Don't worry guys. With Microsoft's massive war chest, buying up these companies can only mean more games for us! Right?
I always love that when I see it. "they have so much money that they don't have to care about losing any money!"
Ummm right, I'm sure that mentality is how they got all that money to begin with! And being a publicly traded company doesnt matter does it? They can just throw money in the trash bc they have so much of it!
Im guessing it's because they have nothing to show. Why bother?
Add in that Blizzard is now probably obligated to show stuff at the Xbox Summer event. Makes for some slim pickings on the new content side.
