Cargo shorts with a drawstring. Or beach shorts. No denim.

I like pockets!

One of the things I miss about the very early 2000s was that cargo shorts and pants were not just ok to wear, but actually fashionable. Hell, we even had the ones with zippers that were both shorts and pants! Those were the days.

I could carry everything I ever would have needed on me at all times. Now even dudes are walking around in skin tight jeans and can barely fit a quarter in their side pocket.

Denim and chino shorts. Shorter inseams, like halfway to the knee. I watch a lotta movies and I've been spoiled by the sight of properly short shorts in older films.

Wore shorts on a few occasions when I was a child (under 10 years old). Never as an adult.
