It's hard to say.

I have a fuck ton of physical media, because I want to own my stuff, but it's mostly burned to digital storage for in home streaming (apart from the books, obviously). The only other thing that takes up space are my Warhammer miniatures, which are primarily another hobby, rather than decorative.

I have a lot of tools and outdoors equipment, but it's mostly in my shed, and in many ways enables me to live an even more Spartan existence, since I will happily spend a week in a tent, with only what I can carry with me in a backpack.

I also have a load of prepper stuff, but that's really more like having a well stocked pantry. It's not like I have that out, taking up space in the living room.

So I guess I'm halfway between? I have a load of stuff, but it's almost all family heirlooms, functional or for a particular pass time, equivelant to the screen and games system set up in the OP's pics.

Maybe it's due to being born and raised in the English countryside. You generally have inherited several centuries worth of heirlooms and get told to make do and mend, so are loathed to throw anything away unless it's truly irreparably broken and no good for parts.

When I was single, my apartment(s) basically had desk/pc in guest room, bed/dresser in bedroom, couch/table/tv in living room, and that was about it. No pictures, posters, plants, bookshelves, lamps, mirrors, or any of that. I loved it. Very easy to keep clean and organized, and super easy when it came time to ever move. I always joked that one day I'd live in a studio-style house with concrete walls and floors, and a drain in the middle, so I could just hose the place down when a cleaning was needed.

I had to move to a different province for work in 2015 and rented a room. It was ok, I had my bed, big TV, a closet. I actually was ok with that life.

But with family I couldn't share the space with other families. It's hard enough with just the 3 of us lol

Are you living with friends/family or renting out to strangers? Your answer will determine whether or not I think you are insane.

I haven't started renting yet. I just bought it a couple months ago. But it will be strangers for short term leases to start.

I like having some decoration, but some women go so overboard with it. Some overpriced piece of shit tchotchke in every empty square inch of a room is not "adulting" like basic old women like to say.

I enjoy going to antique shops and estate sales more than I probably should, admittedly 😅

The clothes minimalism I adhere to. Been wearing tactical gear since I was a youth. I have 20 yo boots still that look brand new. Steve Jobs loved to wear Issey Miyake for brain freedom also.

I don't want to be just okay. I want to build wealth and have extra money to buy and do the things I want.

All I use is those things, but there are lots of other things around me. I'm going to chuck out a lot of things this year, too much pointless shite everywhere, though I think I still have much less than most people do.

It's not me currently, but if I was a bachelor on a budget that could totally be me and I would be just fine.

This would be me if I was single. We have tons of shit on the walls from all our travels and I enjoy the nice decorations but do it for the wife. I am extremely lazy and would put very little effort into the internal aesthetics of the home.
