Thread: LTTP: NieR Replicant
Hey D Pad! NieR Replicant is AMAZING so far!!! I love the story, the more punchy combat, the music. The seamless transitions from 2.5 to 3D, in a way this feels like the "real" NieR game because the universe feels more homely in this one if that makes any sense. Like in Automata, I felt like the hi tech clashed with the music and whatnot, and I still love Automata, but the vibe in this game makes more sense, hearing music like this in a village for example. Also the loading screen is one of the most clever I've ever came across, with Nier running on it to extend the loading bar forward :'D I'm really glad I got it and gave it a chance! I'll be sure to make more posts within this OP about Replicant if anything else of note comes to mind!

This is the game where you battle against A.I. right? I've caught a glimpse of Automata for a few minutes
If I remember correctly, it's in the factory level where there are Automata-like Machines you got to fight off and whatnot

While I'm at it I should give an update on my progress in the game...I beat the main ending so far, and I do look forward still to getting the other ones too! I'll admit I gave this game a HUGE break but I haven't forgotten about it, it's still a Grade S tier game imo that I want to beat fully one day

So many people talk about Automata, but Replicant is news to me. I had no idea there were two in this series. What's the bottom line with its story, it's a spinoff series from something else right?

NieR Gestalt is the best of the series. NieR series itself is a spin-off of the Drakengard series (Drag on Dragoon). A Drakengard 1's secret ending leads to the NieR timeline.
