Not gonna link any articles. They just talk about his vid and don't add anything.
Found some interesting takes about this on twitter though:
I'm not sure if he is vaccinated or not. I would be surprised if he is.
Can't wait for his next podcast.
It's a bit tiring how both sides try to squeeze every little bit of 'I am right' from every little piece of Covid news at the moment.
Yay, some young healthy people get Covid and die, and some vaccinated people get Covid and die as well.
As was expected.
Yawn.

They gaslit people into believing getting the vaccine would help you stop other people from getting it but they have now admitted that's not true all the vaccine does is potentially help you deal with the effects of having it but even knowing that they've admitted this people still harp on about how you should get vaccinated to help other people somehow.I'm an idiot. That said, I got the vaccine and still ended up getting covid. If the meds he takes help him, why is it such a problem? Not only that, but I now know way too many people that are going through the 'ULTRA RARE' breakthrough infection after vaccination. I'd love one of the smart people to tell me why it's such a big that he doesn't want to get vaccinated.
I really wish we could move back to the type of culture that didn't give a shit what other people were doing. How hard is it to mind one's own business?
Yea, it really did feel like the powers-that-be scared people with this stuff, especially when Trump was president. All of those death stats seemed to go away once he was out of office and they got the sniffer in there. Ah well. I'm too stupid to have an opinion about it. I just need to 'follow the science'.They gaslit people into believing getting the vaccine would help you stop other people from getting it but they have now admitted that's not true all the vaccine does is potentially help you deal with the effects of having it but even knowing that they've admitted this people still harp on about how you should get vaccinated to help other people somehow.
A lot of what made the death rates go down was a combination of less use of ventilators as those caused a lot of deaths as well as better protection for people in nursing homes from serial murderers like Cuomo and of course the fact that when Mass testing became a thing and you were tested all the time you were going to find more cases and it was going to be less deaths per case as a result compared to when people only were tested if they were sick.Yea, it really did feel like the powers-that-be scared people with this stuff, especially when Trump was president. Because being right in this, who cares right? Nothing really on the line here. Not interested, don't read it.
Same here. Everybody should decide themselves if they want to get vaccinated or not.I really wish we could move back to the type of culture that didn't give a shit what other people were doing. How hard is it to mind one's own business?
The people I was arguing with at work today now deny that the vaccine was ever sold as a way out of this, they sort of speak as though they always knew that they were going to require 6 month boosters to be in society. It's infuriating to talk to NPC's who just read you CNN headlines, you are better off cutting your loses and not trying to converse with those people because they'll never wake up, it just frustrates you unless you have printed documentation and the time and patience of a saint to actually walk them through non-mainstream modes of thought
I don't know. I think they can figure out a middle ground and put people with covid into their own area while still treating people in other areas. I don't think it needs to be this either-or situation. What about 'Do no harm'?Same here. Everybody should decide themselves if they want to get vaccinated or not.
My stance is though, if you don't get vaccinated and you land in hospital with a severe case of Covid and if those hospitals are in danger of getting overwhelmed, you lose your right to a bed and get thrown out of there for anybody else that needs your bed.
I don't want to die because I have an accident with blood loss and I cannot get treated because some people are too elite to get a vaccine that has shown almost no huge side effects so far and severely reduces the effects of a bad case of Covid.
Would be only fair, wouldn't it?
Since you guys don't think you will get severely sick by Covid you won't care anyway, I guess?
So you get to decide if you want to get vaccinated or not since it doesn't impact the rest of society, and the rest of people can be sure they will get treated if something happens to them.
Problem solved.
Win/Win situation.

On the other hand, the code of ethics requires a physician to "provide all appropriate assistance to anyone in urgent need of medical assistance."
So it seems you are only a brave no-vaccine-warrior if you know you can depend on that healthcare system you are too snob to act in solidarity with.I'm looking into regional physician codes of ethics to see what the rules are on this.
I don't have time right this second to read through them all but this article on physicians ethics codes in canada states this:
You should be required as a tax payer funded physician to treat people who require medical assistance, and not be able to pick and choose based on who you think makes the correct choices in their life.
I'm legitimately shocked that people I know feel that I should be denied medical assistance because I made my own risk assessment.
Oh, you'll treat my collapsed lung, but if I get covid and chose to not be vaccinated....time to bring out the spite hammer? Fuck you bro.
Is this like saying someone shouldn't get dental surgery because they didn't brush their teeth every day which would be working in solidarity with what the dental industry wants? Fuck off, dude lolSo it seems you are only a brave no-vaccine-warrior if you know you can depend on that healthcare system you are too snob to act in solidarity with.
I get it.
What a retarded analogy. Is this like saying someone shouldn't get dental surgery because they didn't brush their teeth every day which would be working in solidarity with what the dental industry wants? Fuck off, dude lol
I just worry that your way of thinking is the thin edge of the wedge. So it seems you are only a brave no-vaccine-warrior if you know you can depend on that healthcare system you are too snob to act in solidarity with.

A lot of crazy crap in our history started because of good intentions that were abused over time. It's not that insane to think we could eventually get to some scary stuff if doctors start selecting who to treat because of personal choices. What a retarded analogy.

Would you deny a morbidly obese person treatment? They made the decision to not push the plate away.
I get it, you want to have your cake and eat it too. You're retarded. I pay for the health care therefore I am entitled to it, and a physician should not be able to deny me that service because I chose to turn down experimental treatments on the basis of my risk assessment being somewhere in the area of 0% chance to die from Covid.
I get it, you want to have your cake and eat it too.
No what you have done is decided that one type of medical advice is more important than another when most people going to the hospital are people who ignored some form of medical advice. It would be no different from me saying because you got the vaccine you don't deserve care if you have an adverse reaction because you made a poor choice in my view no one really gives a crap what Stifler's mom thinks they should be doing. What a retarded analogy.

It is terrifying that we have people advocating for not treating people even when people are paying into an insurance program.I want the cake I paid for, if I'm in town for cake
People love talking about their anecdotal evidence of people suffering from covid and why that should guilt you into getting the vaccine even though the vaccine doesn't stop you from spreading it, well I have my own anecdote my grandfather's brother took the vaccine it gave him Bell's ballsy and then within a few days he was dead.Being dead is a pretty huge side effect. And literally hundreds of people have died from it.
So where are you seeing hospitals filling up and higher death rates right now exactly. You're talking like we're back in April of 2020 when we're not. The fear mongering doesn't help your argument especially when it doesn't reflect reality. So what do you brilliant minds here propose as a course of action if the numbers go up, and hospital and ICU beds are filled to the brim with patients?
What will your insurance then bring you? Nothing. There will still be no bed and treatment for you.
But on the other side you are too scared to take the consequences like little cowards.
I see just a lot of being against something here, but no real solutions from your side.
Ah yeah, I know, "fuck me".
Are we in elementary school now?
if the numbers go up
Yeah, because a lot of people got vaccinated. So where are you seeing hospitals filling up and higher death rates right now exactly. You're talking like we're back in April of 2020 when we're not. The fear mongering doesn't help your argument especially when it doesn't reflect reality.
Well by an enormous margin the worst state in America was New York and the reason New York is no longer so bad is not because of vaccination it's because it already went through their damn population and now we're actually protecting people in nursing homes. A person like you isn't going to be able to explain why the hospitals are empty in Sweden you're vaccination activism doesn't apply there.Yeah, because a lot of people got vaccinated.
Yeah, because a lot of people got vaccinated.
Tell that to those hypothetical nurses and doctors, that don't give a shit because they have been working overtime since weeks.Tell me more about your hysterical hypotheticals when I tell you that I want health care I pay for
