Damn you Hostile...

Morrowind is my all time favorite game. If you played it when it came out, you would know what a huge leap in gaming it was.

Once again, I never understood the appeal of the GTA brand.

I hated GTA 4. The controls were shit, rhe story boring, the city dull, and it just wasn't fun to play.

It's the only GTA I've not completed. Barely played more than a couple of hours, infact.

Morrowwind wins this by default, even though I've never played it. I just want GTA 4 to lose.

Controls are way worse in 5. And you voted for that.

GTA IV is the best GTA. Still feels like GTA, great sandbox but also a fun story.

Morrowind aged poorly, still buggy and most NPCs and towns are copy pasted. I never liked it much.

Love Elder Scrolls 4 and 5 but missed Morrowind at the time. Went back a few a few years ago and wasn't feeling it. I'm swinging my sword and hitting this cunt but nothing's happening. Fuck that.

I finished GTA 4 so I'll pick that. Even though there was a lot I didn't care for. No, I don't want to go bowling with you, lardass, fuck off.

Morrowind gets my vote. I bought this and Gothic 1 on the same day. Both were glorious.

GTA was disappointing. Like @The Bloody Nine said the phone calls asking to do things were bloody annoying. I play games to escape social interaction 😂

Should be happy them mate, a game you like vs one you don't! I had Silent Hill 2 vs Last of Us: Part 2 and it broke me inside. Same with Cyberpunk vs Uncharted 2. 😭

GTA4 has the best car controls, but Morrowind is THE best Elder Scrolls-game. If Morrowind was remade with modern graphics and full voice-acting, it'd be so much above Skyrim, not even funny.

Whichever one wins I'm okay with. I've only played GTA IV and it was alright. Could have been better, but I respect that they went with pure crime no bullshit. That and Niko Bellic was the ultimate goon. Probably the toughest dude in the series, but it's up for debate

Agree with your views on GTA IV. It's somewhat dull, and very gloomy. Even the ending is depressing. But it was still kinda fun

The heist you pull off with Patrick McReary and his brothers is fucking intense

Honour the Sixth House and the Tribe Unmourned, D-pad, in this place where destiny is made!

All GTA voters, come to me through fire and war. I welcome you.

Morrowind lovers, together we shall speak for the law and the land and will drive the brainlet GTA fans from D-pad.

I loved GTAIII, but IV was kind of boring for me. Loved Morrowind though. Still plan on putting it in my Series X one of these days to see how much better it runs.

I was a big fan of GTA4's driving physics and the Euphoria engine in general. But it was such a step back from the PS2 trilogy in too many ways. Suddenly you couldn't just come up with your own creative solution to a quest.

You chase a guy and his car is indestructible because they want you to spend the time following him closely enough in the chase, hearing the dialog, and getting to the place where the next segment of the quest was to happen. It felt so linear all of a sudden. Morrowind just kinda blew me away. I got the GOTY version for Xbox not really knowing what it was and finally broke the spell of only liking J-RPGs.

GTA IV gets my vote. I like Niko Bellic, the story, the fun Euphoria physics, Vladivostok FM radio and exploring Liberty City. My second favorite GTA game after GTA: San Andreas. GTA V was a letdown,

Morrowind gets my vote. I sunk a ton of hours into both games. GTA4's story was okay but I loved the world, the fully realized physics, the multiplayer... hours and hours of playing on that sandbox map with others on PSN. It was genuinely a fun sandbox to play around in and it ruined a lot of subsequent "open world" games for me.

Morrowind... pretty much all the stuff said above (minus the multiplayer) is true. It was a massive D&D-adjacent world to mess around with. Magic and crafting in particular felt mind blowing, the notion that you could make spells as if you had a console prompt to enter cheat-codes. I played on PC so I didn't have the performance shortfalls that the Xbox version had, though I played that version too and it wasn't too miserable.

Your avatar gives me a boner that lasts more than 4hrs and I end up having to go to the ER each time I see one of your posts.

Morrowind is one game I'd love to see a remake with modern QoL features. In reality it is probably the best of the Elder Scrolls if it wasn't such a pain in the ass to play.

It has so much exploration great story and side quests far better than any other games main quests. I especially love the crazy Telvanis. The world is HUGE and there is so much to see and do. Love this game I just wish it easier to get around on the giant map and had decent inventory handling.

Morrowind of course gets my vote.

GTA 4 is always a tough one for me to rate. The story was great and the DLC support post launch was top tier. But the game felt and played like a dog turd at launch. The driving was god awful and in general the physics were more entertaining than useful. If I remember they eventually cleaned up the Driving. Had I not been sucked into the story and breadth of the city I never would have finished it. It is ultimately one of my least favorite GTA games.

Of course Morrowind also isnt my favorite in its series either. But it was a solid entry and felt good to play on the OG Xbox. My biggest gripe was honestly the visuals. The fog and draw distance was weak sauce. But things you could see actually looked good.

Boots of blinding speed + maximum basic speed + other items and potions that increase speed, athletics and acrobatics + spells that increase athletics, speed and acrobatics = maximum speed

You just need to understand the mechanics of Morrowind then the game becomes your playground and you can truly feel like an all-powerful being.

Also, I think Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is a pretty decent remake.

Not that I like Morrowind that much but it's probably Bethesda last impressive game. With that said GTAIV is the far superior game.

I actually never played Morrowind. I dont know how I missed that one.
GtaIV was one that I force played because it had to be good with all the 10s it got. I realized I didn't like it at all. It became the first game I hated that got 10s the next one was RDR2.

I liked GTA IV when it came out and enjoyed its multiplayer a bit, it was really different from anything else I had played at that point. I never went back to it and didn't bother getting into GTA V.

I have issues with Morrowind but it's really successful at creating an original fantasy world with tons of factions, intrigue, and history. It's not just being a stranger in a strange land, it's more like Dune, Lawrence of Arabia that you're an outsider imperial agent and it eventually becomes your home.

Morrowind Remake is why we need AI-trained voice-acting. Only way to make a fully voice Morrowind possible.

First game that got tens and disappointed me was Super Mario Galaxy 2. Reviews for major releases cannot be trusted most of the time

Ok that's tough.... I love both and GTA iv is something I still occasionally play today because of it's story, physics and much better tone than 5.
But Morrowind is just pure replay value. My 14 self played it to death. I could do level 40 in 2 hours after starting the game. if you know where the loot is and where to sell it and train.
