MW2 is the best non Halo FPS title ever made. It is a masterpiece of a bygone era that I'd do almost anything to see gaming return to.

I have ZERO interest in some weird homo elf dude named Zelda.

I mean, c'mon, you got lil' games I mean you got wii what, what you got, Legend of Zelda where you walk around with a lil' bitch, and his lil' bitch-ass sword, and lil' shield, and he's goin "HEH! HEH! HEH!" C'mon, who wants to play that shit?

Not sure what the worst take is here, not playing Zelda games because you are a mentally retarded 5th grader caught in mid 90s console warring or thinking that Halo and COD are good FPS games. Those games are shit and ruined the FPS genre for a decade.

You can always tell who started playing vidja during the 360 era. Despicable.

360 era is the best era but not when I started.
Cant help that is when games really started getting good
We now know there are at least 19 virgins on D-Pad
1 down...18 more to go.

They keep saying it's the GOAT. That must mean Breath of the Wild is the Gayest of All Time.

Seriously, No Russian has to be the cringiest, shittiest level ever put to silicon. Even if the rest of the game were good (which it is not) it deserves to lose for that level alone. I mean, what could possibly be more fun than shooting a bunch of unarmed, innocent people?

Yes, I get that you can skip the level altogether, but doesn't that kind of prove my point? Does a game that has to offer to self-censor itself really deserve a spot on the GOAT list?

I really don't see the issue with No Russian considering you can go through it without firing a single bullet. And the other levels in Modern Warfare 2 are some of the best in the series. Of Their Own Accord, Second Sun, Whiskey Hotel, Wolverines, Exodus, The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday etc.

No Russian is still better than the "Collect 10 bear asses" tier mission design in BOTW.

What's wrong with it?

The plotline is admittedly stupid if you put any thought into it, and I remember thinking so even at the time. But the sheer shock value and balls on the part of the developer, plus the fact that it''s still memorable, does put it above the boring side quest design of everything in BOTW.

It is far fetched to think somebody can conduct a false flag like that and cause WW3, though not an uncommon scenario in fiction.

But I think he just offended that you can shoot civilians like that.

This segment was censored in Russia and some other countries (you can restore via a console command), but didn't cause a big controversy. It really just an edgy interactive cutscene like the one where you die off a nuclear blast in MW1.

It's more the case that Makarov clearly conducted the attack so everyone and their dog would know that the US wasn't actually involved, but really you can pick apart a lot of the stories of the Modern Warfare games if you looked too closely. But in the moment, it does work fine.
