Advent Children didn't look that good to begin with.

As far as playable graphics in FFVII Remake Intergrade or the upcoming FFVII Rebirth, would you say those 2 titles have topped FFVII Advent Children?

It looks great, but FFVII:AC released 2 years later & had the benefit of better technology.
Textures and shaders, yeah, especially the characters look better today. But stuff like physics, clothes behavior, fog and effects look better in Advent Children.

Animatrix had the benefit of bigger budget. Same with Spirits Within. Maybe it's just a better direction but Animatrix looks amazing to this day. FF7 movie looks grey and lifeless and animation is not as detailed, just an average PS3 CGI cutscene.

I think the PS5 version of FF7R looked better than Advent Children already. Certainly better story than whatever brain-dead schlock that was AC's.

Never mind Advent Children (which was a cgi movie right?), i dont think we have even matched 'Agni's Philosophy' yet, at least in Final Fantasy game terms anyway -
FF16 pales in comparison.
Also on a side note, this tech demo was released before XB1/PS4 and its funny thinking about all the people back then that thought this tech demo was nothing compared to the kind of games we got on those consoles lol.

Are you sure FFVII Rebirth doesn't top that Agni's Philosophy demo? The fidelity, textures and character's skin/hair looks better to me in FFVII Rebirth
It was funny though back then, that people thought the games on XB1 & PS4 would look exactly the quality or better than that Agni's Philosophy demo
