I am going to attempt a 7 day fast starting tonight. I went to a Brazilian steakhouse and shoveled all the meat I could get. Going to try and do 7 days with nothing but water and salt. Hardest part will probably be the migraines I usually get but I'm just going to pray I don't get any.

Longest I've ever done is 44 hours and I got a huge burst of energy but going to the gym four times in 44 hours made me starve so I ended up breaking it. Hoping to finish off my body's inflammation and lose a few pounds along the way. Wish me luck babies.

Good luck! Try to go for 72 hours before going the whole week. Day 3, 4, and 5 are surprisingly good. But 6 and 7...

Best of luck, man! Most I've done is about 70 hours, but I was doing only water, so I'm planning on adding in sodium/electrolytes next time I give it a try.

I've done 72 hours before and wasn't too bad, but a week is pretty brutal. Rather than feeding up, I'd have recommended cutting down beforehand tbh. Take yourself down to 800-1000 calories a day for a week or so and most importantly cut out carbs completely, as carb consumption tends to promote hunger the most I found.

Fasts for me are easy until the 50 hour mark. I do IF/OMAD nearly every day though.
IF is super easy for me since I usually eat once or twice a day.

I think you misunderstand me, I am fucking EXTREME.

Going to try epsom salt baths and pink salt.

I've been sub-1000 for a month now so I think I'll be okay. I got out the carbs too.
Some sick fuck will post delicious food and tag you. 👀
Sick motherfuckers online!
Inflation is a bitch.
Not eating is definitely cheaper than eating.
Use a mixture of salt and non salt alternative cause you'll get an elecrolyte imbalance.
What do you mean by non salt alternative?

Potassium chloride with calcium.

ok. I've done two 7-day fasts. They were both tough at the end, that's all I'm saying.

The better method of fasting (especially if you are going to the gym) is consistent smaller fasts over the course of several months, e.g. switching entirely to OMAD for the first month and then adding in one 48hr fast each week for 1 month, then adding in two 48hr fasts per week on month 3, then adding in a 72hr fast on month 4, etc. (this is a loose example, not the only way it can be accomplished)

the purpose of this would be to drop the last 5-10 percent of body fat (or more, depending on how lean you already are) and then to mantain/gain while sticking to OMAD + careful bulk periods

Furthest I've ever gone was about 66-68 hours, it was great until my body started to catabolize its own tissue. It was painful at that point so I went straight towards your typical meal, instead of something simple and light, which probably caused a bit more damage ontop of everything. Fasting is great, but you have to know what you're doing and all the ins and outs of what can happen to make the most of it imo. I've been an IF type of guy since 2013

Well I'm at 21 hours now. What's another 147 hours? Easy mode, amirite?

Can you still eat a dick?
My meat cut off was at 8pm yesterday and that includes man meat.

I think I've done 36 hours quite easily. I do daily intermittent fasting and I can easily reach 24 hours.
I have thought of doing it longer, but didn't take the steps yet. I can't have myself not functioning considering my responsibilities so I don't want to risk it yet.

Do you have a triptan like imitrex for the migraines? They can turn a full blown disabling migraine into a minor nuisance

I'll choose a cool looking coffin for you. Don't worry.

Triptans don't work on me, they typically make them worse. I'm almost at 25 hours. Headache is present but I took a cold shower and a hot bath, trying to confuse it!

What's the benefit of doing a full week ? Real question and a bit extreme isn't it.
I can understand maybe 2 at most 3 days but not more

Is it caffeine withdrawal?

Likely the case. I had to cave and do a small cup of black coffee. Tried a cold shower then hot epsom bath. Tried a cold migraine head pack thing, looks like a head condom. Full blown migraine just kept worsening, my forehead veins were visibly throbbing hard af. Tried menticol which is some ecuadorian menthol concoction. Felt like vomiting but ended up laying down for a while. Wife drained my testiculos. I'm still hurting but I think it's downgraded from a full blown migraine to a headache. Not hungry, just that fucking head pain. I'm now at the 26.5 mark.

I would do ibuprofen + coffee to take the headache away
