An old gaming "show" is remembered enough and popular enough to be brought back. However, there were two women who were a major part of the old show. They were super hot and popular but they are not part of the new show.
The best thing to do here would be to just never mention it. Having the new female host basically crying that people really miss the previous women is just fucking sad. Even if the audience comments are crass it just looks weak to be berating your own audience over this.
Then to try and frame it like you are some hero fighting againt oppression with your male presenters clapping like seals beside you is just embarrassing. It's a video-game channel you are working on. Not leading the suffragette movement.
They should have just shut up and waited for it to blow over. If she was good enough then it would have blown over. People would have said that yeah Olivia Munn was easy on the eye but a lot of the content was obnoxious and cringey and its better to have someone who had great insightful opinions on gaming.
