From the director of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
And the writer of Enola Holmes 2
And the writer of It Runs in the Family
I guess that is the best they could do since Joseph Kosinski left and went on to direct Top Gun: Maverick.
Haven't seen a trailer yet so I don't know how to feel about Ares. Tron Legacy was cool, but that was more than a decade ago. A different director and a different Disney. Maybe Evan Peters, Cameron Monaghan and Gillian Anderson will make it interesting, but it's going to come down to the script, special effects, and sound design. And remember Daft Punk broke up several years ago so who are they going to get to score this movie?
