Warner Bros & Legendary have a dated a "Denis Villeneuve Event Movie" for the 2026 holidays, and the smart money is on it being 'Dune 3.'

Some vague talk that Dune: Messiah is in the works now with an expected released date for 2026.
I'm a little sceptical on this one as it seems a tad too soon, plus the cast does kind of need to age out a bit, bit maybe after the success of Parts 1 & 2. I think DV is likely working on a different IP (There was talk of a film adaptation of Rendevous with Rama IIRC) .
