They just don't seem to get that people play a Dragon Age game for being a fun interactive rpg experience much like Baldur's Gate. No one gives a shit on how GAY it is. Yet in their deluded minds, they think being GAY is the main selling point.

Romance was a big thing, but Kotor, Mass Effect, Jade Empire Dragon Age Origins all were solid games even setting romance aside with good enough world building to potentially support entire settings. In hindsight of course, Bioware absolutely fucked up every followthrough to those games, or never even bothered in Jade Empires case.

I've always suspected that the old Bioware guard were plenty pissed at their fanbase over the backlash with Mass Effect 3's original ending. Especially with how the Doctor's doubled down on their decisions and just upped and left the company in the aftermath. David Gaider acting like a retard of late seems to confirm this theory of mine.

I am OK with developers making the game they want to make but i don't see any issue with potential buyers complaining about aspects they don't like. Videogames are art, sure, but there needs to be some kind of "carrot" for the consumer.
Other art forms are a different case. I can go to the movie theatre and watch the newest woke Hollywood shit at 7.30pm and be tucked up in bed by midnight. My wallet a little lighter but I'll forget about it quickly. Oh the new woke Netflix abomination is out now? I can watch it in the background and browse on my phone if I get bored. Meaning a director can purposefully make something that's "not for you" and my time investment is still minimal so it's not actually a huge problem if I get duped. Annoying, yes, and I wouldnt trust them next time but not a disaster to waste 2 to 3 hours only.
2 to 3 hours in most games these days is the opening cutscenes and a basic tutorial. Might be a good idea to load that up with content to hook the player.
A videogame of Dragon Age scope is many hours of investment and I just feel like alienating the audience can't really work for a product like that. These devs talk like they are deliberately tricking the consumer into buy a product they won't like.
They act like gamers are going to buy the game anyway so it doesn't matter what the content is instead of understanding what the consumer wants and doesn't want and then using that to get people to invest proper time into your game.
Do these clowns not realise that they are asking for 40+ hours of time investment in content that they want to advertise as "not for straight white male gamers"?

It's sad to see how low Bioware has fallen. They were once my favorite developer and I will forever love and cherish the Mass Effect trilogy and Dragon Age: Origins. But now it's time for Papa EA to put them out of their misery.

THIS. I mean, I don't usually go out of my way to look for sexy fanservice in games. But having the occasional bit T&A helps make the journey a bit more enjoyable.
Take The Witcher 3 for example, probably my longest commitment to a single game. The over 200 hours I've spent completing it wouldn't have been as tolerable if every NPC (especially the women) looked like a fucking goblin.
